I don't like the new opacity level when chat channels are pinned. Previously when pinned, they'd go practically 100% see-through now it's, what I'd guess to be, 50-ish % or opaque.

Make more see-through.

More specifically: It'd be really nice to have a transparency slider for pinned windows.

Liking it so far, two requests:

1) The "You have #/# of contracts outstanding" no longer appears at the bottom of the create contract window". Please bring it back!

2) The narrow row view on the contract screen it great, but it'd be even better if there was a clear way to identify which ones are auctions at a glance.

When I run the game in shader quality: high - all of the graphics wash out and the lights just keep adding until its a blemish of ultra bright mass (which is unplayable). I had this set to high prior to the patch without any issue.

Recommend driver updates for a Radeon 5750 user?

Agreed, would like an option to change it back or make it brighter as before. Hard for me to read unless I stare right at it which is not what I want to be focusing on in the middle of combat. Also almost impossible to read if I have it over the sun or other bright object.

What ever you did to the corp wallet, undo it. Its god awful!
My corp wallet now can be sorted by divisional name or balance. Issues is I dont want to sort it by name or balance, I want them in order of division number: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. With sorting by name or balnace it can not be sorted by number. Fix this plz!

Weirdness with probes and bookmarks.

Some Bm have just flat out moved from where they were yesterday. (Cosmic Sig BM's)

You can't see, on the solar system screen, the names of any BM's.

You can R/click BMs and perform actions on them, and the only way to see which BM it is, is to 'edit' and close.

Really need BM names back.

No lables on Probes, as in no number or current scan range. Which is odd because in my first system there was, after jumping to another hole it was gone.

Cleared cache...yadda yadda

Why did you change the way the sell dialog works? Can't use enter on it anymore. Sad

And i don't like the new look on the UI, it was much better the way it was.

I do like the new graphics for mission explosions though.

All in all this was a pretty unecessary patch imo.

You change parts that shouldn't be changed or noone wants to have it changed. You add features that are useless, features that are needed take 2 years to be implemented (like BPO icons). You kill one bug and add two for it. I call it live beta testing. Maybe you should have a personal dialogue with your Quality Manager.

But well I can't complain it was always like that, guess all others are used to that already and just ignore it. Only thing that annoys me is that the holiday is screwed for eve gameplay then. Can I get some skillpoints please for that ? ;)

I'm not sure if this is the buggiest update CCP has ever deployed, but it is in the running.

I applaud CCP's decision to speed up improvements to the game, but that seems rather self-defeating in this case.

guys ever since this new patch has been released i can not log in, i got like 9 hours left on my training timeline, and have spent the past 5 hours trying to find a solution, is there any manual download i can get? and if i can how to install it, its bull****, ccp always ****s stuff up at the worst times, ironically when my level 5 skills come to an end, and i loose days of training time with no bonus skill points to show for it. and to belive im paying for this ****!

The bugs are insane, there are so many bugs new ones keep popping up and interrupt my ability to report others because the game keeps crashing. I had Eve crash 1 time before this update it crashed 20 times since. CCP pretty much decided to be the stereotype of every garbage software company and MMO out there with this 1.6 roll-out.

I'm not sure how I'm liking the new look of the pinned windows, previously I liked pinned windows for 1) being pinned and 2) being able to see through them... I don't like my game looking like a desktop... already get enough crap from people thinking I'm on some animated screensaver when I'm playing...

Ok... there is few bugs here and there but as a whole I have to give big hand to devs in charge for making the new UI. It is much more responsive than the old one and feels like well optimized.

Everyone's visual perception is different, therefore optimum transparency is variable.

PI is working but returns 395 per hour for 1st hour, down to ~80 per hour over 10 days 12 hours in the hottest spot. (0.5 Lava Extracting Felsic Magma.) 5995 is returned on routing amount however. This within a minute of setting everything up, though Survey still shows what appear to be meager amounts. It's been awhile since I did PI and Felsic is rare, but this is hotter than the original extraction point by a factor of two or more.

Moving the extraction point off the hot spot rockets the result up where it shift from White to Red to Reddish, but htis return is false and results in 0 or very limited returns of 3 or so showing. Number on extractor head functions normally, where the one on the per day amount is haywire.

Pod works fine for as little as I flew it, undocking and redocking to launch and land my products at the new location.

Looged in much faster and with almost zero lag. Very impressive new feature of the CarbonUI. Usually I have a drop out on first log in per account; this one went flawlessly.

Before patching and after downloading patcher from launcher, I cleared Shadow Cache and restore points, as well as 'all that stuff + recycle bin'. No issues.

I did not install optional patch following, but logged directly in.

Jump Clone worked fine; Market is good; Contracts working - noticed Quafe Zero is contracted out of Jita for as much as 99M ISK currently. (No numbers, just noticed.).

Skill Queue working; Cert's appear to work; Browser still takes ages to load EVE Gate, but logs into one other site almost instantly.

Fitting Window and refitting appears to work fine; Station buttons appear to be fine; Chat is functional it appears; Fleet creation fine; Everything seems normal or better than normal.

I'd check probes, but I don't feel like going out and buying the parts or flying back to Jita. Maybe tomorrow.

Flight check confirms Capacitor reversed in fitting window; Can confirm on locating a POS with Directional scanner, that they are not where you warp to on moon; New Bookmarks seem to work fine, though I don't have any old ones available to test; New Bookmark is also clickable in Solar System Map, and can show info.

Shadows are still blobby and undefined on stations, while Gallente textures on at least one stationare rather pixellated, though Caldari seem to look fine - Nothing changed there I don't think, except I though my client had defaulted to low graphics for a minute.

Ship indeed will do a 180 when Full Speed is set, however it only does so when not aligned, on approach, or on Direct double-click course set in space. Otherwise it appears to be fine.

Everything else seems okay, though I can't say as I feel like playing anyway. What's new? *sigh*


edit: I spoke to soon it seems. My second account connected fine, but never logged in to station properly, (as usual), resulting in a disco after station load and reboot. The following connection worked fine, (also as usual), and my 3rd account logged in following that, with only slight hesitation.

I would speculate that the client is not properly resetting between logins.

The new blueprint original graphics make it pretty much impossible to see the stack count in a stack of packaged BPOs with it being all unnecessarily transparant. Please don't make my eyesight even worse with all your new 'attempts' at graphics bling.

I don't know if anyone else has encountered crashes with the new client, but I'm getting them every half-hour or so now. I never used to get any crashes with the old build.

Some more info: It appears to only happen when I'm alt-tabbed out of the game (doing other stuff).

WTH CCP did with the missile effects? I mean when CCP realeased the new turret video I was like... damn that looks good .. maybe one day CCP will do something goods for missiles too but no... instead we got new nerf. When You zoom out it looks f redicilous .. like sooting some damn rocks Evil or Very Mad The axplosion effects are cut as well. Why dont You skip the agony and make it 2D. That sould solve your lag problems.

Confirming the same problem with bookmarks moving.

On a similar note, control towers and structures are not on the same grid as their moons now (or something like that). Either way, you now cannot reach said tower by simply warping to its moon, only way currently is to have a bookmark of the module itself or combat probes.

Perhaps this was intended.
