I get this error whenever i try to enter eve. Not at once, but as the station environment is supposed to come up.
The computer is a brand-new ACER aspire one 522 with the new AMD ontario fusion APU. It is Dx11 and have no problems running other games like half-life 2.
The laptop is untouched except i have uninstalled a few ACER programs i don't need, Installed 2Gb RAM (got the same error with just 1gb too) and updated videocard drivers.
I have tried running the repair utility but it finds nothing wrong.
Please help, my old netbook could run eve, and that had a VIA chipset and graphics and produced 2-3 fps in station. But at least i could do in station stuff.... |

Same error only I can load after a restart but it happens sporadically. all started since the last patch. I reinstalled windows, Eve reinstalled 2 times and it still happens. Any help here? |

ok so I just turned off MSI Afterburner and problem seems to be solves. The failure in the above post RTSS is the server for MSI fps monitors and temp monitors.... go figure. |

My problem is not likely to be the same as kuni's. Has anyone else been able to run eve on an ontario based notebook? |

anyone? I love the power and compactness of this thing and would be very disappointed if it cannot run EVE. |

Edited by: Che Biko on 19/05/2011 00:09:32 I thinks there's a crashdump somewhere. I read something like that, don't remember where though. Ask customer support if you can't find it on the wiki or in the knowledgebase. Edit: perhaps someone in the Q&A forum knows as well. |
