Hi,

I was wondering if we will ONE day have the option the resculpt our character? BEcause I suck at art and rushed my character and I could use a little surgery :/

Also we are in year A-LOT and I am a demi-god who can shop for a new body anytime but... I cannot endure surgery? W

So my question is: will there be cosmetic surgery ( I don't mind paying a few million ISKs ) in the future?

Love

Resculp <> recustomize.

Recustomize only let you adjust hair, clothes and makeup, not the actual facial and body shape.

When Incarna is fully deployed we intend all Avatar modifications to be done in player owned shops. One could imagine a clothing shop where owners would be allowed to design their clothing articles and sell them to players. Same with tattoo parlors, I'm actually quite excited to see the designs players will come up with. Continuing on that trend we will be allowing players to re-sculpt their avatars, create vanity items, etc, etc. We've heard complaints about avatars not looking futuristic enough but with these tools it is the players themselves that will define how they perceive how futuristic pod pilots look like.

How will players design their own clothing or tattoos?

We're working on tools that will allow players to sculpt tattoo shapes. Using a base tattoo system like we have for corp logo's or medals, tattoo artists will be able to add shapes to their client's wishes. Tattooists will also have the ability to modify or sculpt their tattoos using tools similar to basic paint programmes.

Won't that allow players to create offensive signs?

Yes in the same way players can create offensive names. If a tattoo is petitioned for being offensive then we'll take a look at it. It's the only way we saw to allow players true custom items without restricting them to X amount of prefabricated pieces.

Is CCP thinking about using a similar system for ship colouration?

Custom ship painting has been asked for ever since Beta. While the UI for both systems may end up similar, custom ship painting also creates other problems which we have to address first. We still want to see it happen one day.

But ... how old is that quote? Sad
