Considering 100% of the content in w/hole space is in Anomalies and Complexes, it kinda is.

He's right, as long as you leave out the gathering, pos bashes, raiding the neighbors, ganking, industry and production, and PI, as well as the general care and feeding of your pos and dos and don'ts of wormhole survival. Yeah, leave all that out and it's 100% Anomalies and Complexes. Rolling Eyes

there could cases made for multiple new board - there isn't one specifically for FW, for 0.0 (and no, CAOD doesn't count), for PI, etc, etc?

Now, as someone that lives in one (and has done for a year or more), I wouldn't be adverse to it, but I'm not 100% sure it's really needed...

Simply being able to do something in a wormhole does not make it wormhole content.

In a broad sense, sure, you can call it that. However, I can self destruct my ships while scratching my ass with one hand, but that doesn't make self destruction nor self-scratching wormhole content.

No, you're definitely probing the wrong hole. Shocked

These things have parallels in non-W space, but there's a uniqueness to W-space which would justify a Wormhole specific area for these threads.

Have you ever been in a wormhole? Have you ever seen a complex in a wormhole? Anomalies and complexes are two different things. You're not going to find any complexes in wspace.

Considering the page you linked says to use Snoop probes which were removed when WHs came out, you are still wrong!

Cosmic Anomaly - found in K and WH space

Unknown: Everything not covered by Gravimetric, Ladar, Magnometric and Radar including:

* Wormholes. These lead to other systems, either in K-space or W-space.
* Exploration Complexes. These often have a commander spawn, and can escalate, eventually culminating in an NPC which drops deadspace items.

Cosmic Signatures - are the exploration Complexes you speak of. Those are both found in K and WH space.

If you noticed I hyperlinked the exploration page which lists all the exploration COMPLEXES! If you ntice, for example, there is a Frontier Digital Nexus complex listed. That is found in a WH only.

Perhaps you would like to shut up instead of making yourself look more like an idiot. Complexes to exist in wormholes and I linked all the proof you need.

Have you found the bottom yet? Keep digging, I'm sure it's there.

WH players should have a separate forum because we are different to everyone else. A superior breed. Braver, more intelligent, faster, better.

There is no local. There are no blobs. There are no stargates and there are no stations.

Just beautiful small gang pvp.

And isk.

You should read the pages you linked, or the words you quoted.

You can find two types of sites via exploration:
-Cosmic anomalies which do not need to be scanned down.
-Cosmic signatures which need to be scanned down.

Complexes are a specific type of cosmic signature that you will only find in kspace. A complex is not a type of anomaly. An anomaly is not a type of complex.

Cosmic signatures can be wormholes, gravimetric sites, magnetometric sites, radar sites, ladar sites, exploration complexes, or DED complexes. Wormholes, grav sites, mag sites, rad sites, and ladar sites can be found in kspace or in wspace. Exploration complexes and DED complexes can only be found in kspace

Cosmic anomalies can be found in both kspace and wspace, but are not complexes.

I would like a separate WH/w-space forum as well. Combat in WHs has significant additional complications (no local, closable jump-gates, etc) that make the general advice of the PvP forums mostly non-applicable, industry works a bit differently with reverse engineering and so on, and PvE versus sleepers bears only the slightest resemblance to that in high/0.0, if for no reason beyond that you cannot ensure that people won't jump you and the NPCs can swap targets.

ITT: semantic arguments

Wormhole content (ie: the content unique to w-space) is PvE content and PvE content goes in "Missions and Complexes".

If w-space deserves its own board, then null, low, and even high sec space should all have their own boards. Maybe PI should have its own board as well? And I guess Incarna would have its own board.

The boards we have are quite sufficient: a PvE one (which includes exploration), two PvP ones, a science/industry one, a trading one, etc. There is no reason whatsoever for w-space to have its own board.

Its really sad to see how entitled the "wh population" is sometimes.

"OMG WE WORK SO HARD"

"OMG NO LOCAL, WE ARE SO BADASS"

"OMG I HAVE SPACE DEMENTIA"

"OMG WHERE IS MY FORUM?"

"OMG CAN I HAVE SOV?"

"OMG IM IN A WORMHOLE MOM LOOK AT ME"

"OMG I HAVENT SEEN A STATION IN MONTHS, IM SO COOL"

I miss the early days of wormholes Crying or Very sad

How about true 'equality?' ONE board for all posts.

ONE board to rule them all, One board to find them,
One board to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.

I have proposed this myself and would very much like to see a separate WH topic.

The only problem is that permanent wormhole dwellers account for less than 3% of the population of EVE. That seems like too much of a minority to be catered to by CCP. So, not a bad idea, but probably not going to happen.
