First off, sorry if I'm doing a repost or if I'm in the wrong thread. I've been searching for a similar topic but can't seem to find it.
I love the In game browser and use it quite alot - but it could be so much better. I'm not going to propose enabling Java or Flash; I know the security issues involved and exploitation capabilities that comes with it. Most of the out of game browsers have been consistent in developing and improving (besides speed/compatibility/security) bookmarks/bookmark management, tabs (horray for tabs!), saving upon browserquit etc.
So what I'm proposing is fairly simple and probably already talked about before. Let me know what you think. Are these things able to be done? Do they, like flash, pose a security threat?
** Improving the bookmark managment and browser settings. Lets say an option for bookmark managment that opens in a new window for easier view and handling of your bookmarks.
** Bookmark buttons. Seriously? Where are they? I keep looking for my bookmark buttons that i saved on my FF but alas, they are not there...
** Integrated searchengines. Just like in FF/Chrome etc. The little bar right there on the right so you can search what you need. Also to be able to set searchengine; be it that you want some eve wiki, DOTLAN map info, battleclinic loadout, eve forum or just regular google.
** SAVE BROWSER SESSION WITH TABS. I keep having about 6-7 tabs up with sites that i need/use at the moment, closing the browser (thinking it will still be there when i start it again later...) and it's gone for ever.
Let me know what you guys think.
Cheers!
