I think your wrong about that, though a randomizer might have been used, the placing of some of the nomenclature argues against it.

If mankind became estranged from earth, created a single unified language amongst the stars, it would certainly be analogous to PIE as a lingua franca. And, as such, could logically follow a course similar to the fracturing of earth's languages. If "history repeats", as it seems to in Eve, mankind would likely follow similar patterns to the past, rehashing his natural subconscious symbolism to create it.

Speaking of names. Where did the name New Eden come from anyway? I mean obviously it's a reference to the Garden of Eden but the system itself was named New Eden by the original humans that came from Earth. After the EVE Gate collapsed all that knowledge was lost so how come they still use the same name for that system? How did they know that was its original name?

Planet VI in the Hror System is called Eanna. It was the last Minmatar planet to fall to the Amarr in 23216 before the Rebellion all covered in Theodicy.

These three big event of 23216 are all closely linked triad.

The Temple Eanna, literally "House of heaven" dedicated to the Goddess Inanna (Queen of Heaven) and closely associated with the Axis Mundi. Eanna was the consort of Anu, daughter of Sin and worshipped by Enheduanna.

If this doesn't put paid to the scepticism regarding ancient mythology being central to the Eve mystery I don't know what will.

I agree any named planet is deliberately named. It would have to be deliberately named, and as such the name may have meaning and purpose. However, it's a big link to go from there, to seeing value and meaning in randomly generated star names.

So, you have one data point so far of ancient mythology being referenced to EVE locations. Not sold. And even if there were more data, it's a big leap to go from "these names appear" to "these names are clues to a central underlying storyline."
