I've read a few of the dev blogs and watched the fan-fest videos and I've not heard a mention of CCP adding in visible implants to characters. Has anyone else seen a mention or should I move this over to Features & Ideas? :P

You can pick a metal plate as your 'hairstyle' in the char creator. You could say that's an implant.

I was under the impression that the implants are neural implants, which normally would be placed on the brain it self and not be visible.

I would say regular implants that increase attribute points won't be visible on your character.

BUT they will probably make implant accessories to choose in the character creator under body modifications.

For example if you look closely at Sansha Kuvakei, he has a cybernetic right eye, which could easily be made an option like the one white eye and scar.

There was a chron released around the time PI came out, which showed a pic of a pod pilot who was covered in highly visible cybernetics, including artificial eyes, respirators, plugs all over his body and wires and pipes snaking all around him.
I think it was mentioned that most of the visible augmentations were cosmetic, and designed to intimidate the people he was doing business with.

edit, found it: http://www.eveonline.com/background/potw/default.asp?cid=15-06-10

Before you make any Incarna related threads, ask yourself one question

Would the Twilight MMO use this?

If you answered yes, then it may happen. If you answered something else....

Ed: Nope. Vampires put makeup on their faces, not implants.

Somewhere I read that our slot 1 to 10 implants are the size of pinheads. Not much to be visible. But I do not remember where.....
