Cross-Race Tattoos.

Think about it. Wouldn't you be willing to spend a plex for a shiny shiny set of Minmatar warpaint for special pvp occasions?

I was thinking make all the races tattoos available to everyone so we can see what they would look like on our toons, and we can pay for the one we want.

As an alternative, make the Caldari tattoos less fail, PLEASE.

Vanity items were something being discussed for plex iirc. Chances are some much better tatoos will come out for all races that can be purchased.

I'd pay for a name change. This name was quite possibly the dumbest idea I ever had. I followed it up with one that was almost as dumb.

Depends on the cost... but no I could care less about how my character looks for the most part... My ship on the other hand... Hmm what else maybe something to do like unlock special missions or locations of things... I dunno hard to say for eve. Then again since RMT's are so prevalent people essentially already buy ships mods and characters so whats the difference in the end? Oh money to CCP instead.

Then again very few games i've ever paid more towards after the fact. Think Mass effect 2 (And those were on sale during x-mas time)

I'd pay to have somebody else unable to log in.

RL ECM we can call it. If some dumb ******* stumps up 17 euros to be allowed to log in and play eve. I want the option to stump up 17 euros just so he can't log in and play eve.

Actually it's better than ECM, because he doesn't have to watch a short animation of him dying while he can't play.

I'd pay for name changes, although I think first time should be free if you bought the character off the char bazaar like I did this one... I really hate this name...

Of course to stop people abusing the system, each time your name is changed it's added to your name history which is displayed on your show info page like employment history, also searching for your old name should still find your char even with the new name.

There is only one way eve can survive with mircotransactions.

You can't buy a tattoo for real money, you can buy the blue print for real money. Then use said blue print, to open a tattoo shop, and offer it for isk.

Player run economy please.

I'd pay for a bloodline change.

I'm sure there's medical facilities that are willing to do such a thing or make a genetically different jump clone if the customer is willing to pay generously.

I'm quite confident that there will be exclusive clothing, tattoos, jewelry, ship paintings, name changes and other cosmetic features available against plex/real world currency.

As long this stays only on cosmetic features, I have no problem with it and would actually support the service and perhaps even buy some of them.

However if they would start selling stuff like training speed multipliers, npc bounty doublers or anything related - would be entirely different thing.

Figured I'd fix that for you, not everyone who plays EVE is dependent on their parents income or a welfare check, so micro transactions are to the benefit of a lot of people.

I will buy nothing with microtransactions and the hardware and markings for each race should be unique, including the subraces. I would like to see additional color options with tats, though. This tribal would have been interesting in white. Oh, and the Caldari selection is pretty gimped and needs some facial metal replacement parts, like noses and cheecks.

I would pay to get Mining 1 removed. I don't want the SP converted I just want it gone. Its getting to the point where I have to train it to level 4 just so it doesn't bother me when looking at my skill sheet.

Combining micro transactions and pay to play tend to end poorly for the users. Just look at the ****ed up **** going on over at Star Trek Online. They have a monthly subscription and 85% of the dev time is spent on premium content that you have to pay extra for. They're really milking the **** out of the player base.

That sucks, let's feel sorry for all 7 people that still play that game.

As for a realistic example, lets look at DDO, which is thriving under a microtransaction/subscription model and it still doing great. It went from dead to a million+ players, which is great for a game that was as crappily done as it was.
