With the buff of t3 ships being discussed at the dev panel during Fanfest and the drop rates of certain ancient salvages such as Melted Nanoribbons being decreased, how will this affect other ship prices? If T3ís become more useful than what their niche roles already allow and they become used regularly in PvP will we see an increase in ancient salvage prices as well as a drop in ship prices, potentially affecting mineral prices as a whole?

Thoughts?

You do realize, of course, that T3 prices (of subsystems that matter anyway) tie rather tightly to the MN prices (it's a friggen ball and chain lockstep actually). So if ancient salvage (MN) goes up, hull and popular subsystems also go up.

As for affecting minerals as a whole? Duuuuuude, those hallucinogenic drugs you are smoking? Lay off em a bit. Please try and explain where in the T3 manufacturing cycle minerals are used in greater than sprinkle quantities? T3 is fairly de-coupled from the mineral market.

S***!!! I missed this. I guess you should buy MNR and T3 hulls now then.

I'm sure their prices have already jumped considerably.

On a serious note, this is a horrible WH nerf.

I thought everyone knew that the RNG gets nerfed after every patch.

Where is this MNR nerf you speak of?

I want proof, or it didn't happen.

Nothing was stated by CCP, but there were many reports of lower drop rates from people running WHs .. or at least they SAY they were running WHs, they were suspected of being market manipulators as much as anything else. There was a sharp price rise in MNR but that was along with the skillpoint redistribution which pushed everything up so .. no suprise there, and no proof of a drop rate decrease.

Ahhh i know what you mean. From my experience i've not gotten as many when i've ran WH sites the past couple of months but it could just be a coincidence. It's rare i do them anymore. I lived in one for AGES and got seriously bored in there.

This was stated during Fanfest at a Q&A panel with some devs. I cant provide an official citation though as I do not know where to obtain one for this.

I can confirm seeing this panel at Fanfest, although I do not remember the names of the developers in question. MNRs have seen an increase in price, I am assuming as well that this is happening/happened. I am going to stockpile up on some as well.

This change was ages ago. MNR jumped from 5.4 to 7.2 and then settled around 6.8

Nothing new here.

not this **** again...
it's been 3 months people say that everytime, from unsure data from months ago... nothing new here

and if something was really said during fanfest i'm still waiting the source.

Incorrect. The dev panel was saying these changes were new and would be implemented in the near? future

This honestly has to be the worst attempt at market manipulation yet on these forums.

It wouldn't be "incorrect", if it didn't happen. Rolling Eyes

Anyway, if it really happened, there will be video or a dev blog.
