I'm still seeing alot of the old pi networks, when will they disappear?

I do my pi in low sec (.1). I have yet to see a new system network other than my own. Is this function broken? BTW, I do pi with three characters on six planets each and they are choice. Anybody else able to report what they have seen, or heard (from CCP)?

Probably people that started, hated it and never resumed.

Yes show others networks is broken.

I have (in a WH) 6 characters each on 5 different planets totalling 30 installations, and I can see none of thier colonies, with the possible exception of thier CC's if I really look hard enough. So I know for certain there's builds on the planets. The CC's are dimmed/faded out quite a lot.

You know you have to click on the CCs to reveal that person's network, right?

I have same problem, I don't see other characters networks on planet. When I right click on planet, I have option show other characters networks, click on that nothing happens.

I send petition to CCP, they told me to clear my cache from game and manually if doesn't work from game.

But still "Show other characters' networks" not working.

Fly safe.

Like everything else, CCP will do nothing to "clean up" crap left from players that no longer care to maintain it.

The old installations will remain until either the account is probably biomassed, or the player eventually decides to destroy it.

The good news is they are at least not taking a resource from you, unlike all the dead POS's occupying moons.

One of my biggest PI *****es is the ridiculous scale of structures. You are prevented from placing them too close together, but another player can place their network virtually on top of yours and its just fine.

Your defensible perimeter is hundreds if not thousands of km in circumference. That, coupled with other glaring PI deficiencies, prompted me to give it up altogether. Recent upgrades have hardly made PI any more realistic.

You folks that continue to slug it out and chain yourselves to your PI systems have my grudging admiration, as it proved just too darn tedious for my tastes.

Eve and Reality should never be compared.

Yes it does suck that somehow the structures "scale" with planet size. Why would an extractor head cover cover 3x the area on a planet 3x the size. Also the building on each other is weird. But at the end of the day it has a lot more to do with programming ease then reality.

because a proper sence of scale has never ever been a strongsuit of anyone at CCP

Turn the planet all white with a scan and they stick out more.

I've always been very impressed with Eve's sense of scale...
