Hello, has anyone thought and have any cruiser build that is based on using 2-3 tracking reduction modules while using afterburner or mwd(tanking till go close) to escape turret fire easily by orbiting around the enemy ship?
And use signature reducing rigs/some low slots

And probably using close range missiles so there wont be any problem with your own tracking

All you have to do is look at the ship bonuses and EFT it to see if it fits your needs.

Do not ever fit missiles on a Curse. 2 awesome ship bonuses are never worth unbonused missile damage. Its incredibly bad if you are in a gang and you fit missiles.

Even if you have the ~solo PVP dream~ the fact its the most feared ship to see solo means you won't ever reliable get 1 v 1 against you.

A drake could also work. Drop some of the overblown tank most people fit and throw on some tracking disruptors. Get in close and let loose with the HAMs. You DID fit Heavy Assault Launchers to your PVP Drake didn't you?

Yes, i would prefer something smaller, like a cruiser since bc are big enough already. Could a caracal work?? Or some turret ship(which can be problematic since they wont be able to truck well at close range either)

You must be deaf.

The Arbitrator, Pilgrim AND Curse are cruisers that get bonuses to Tracking Disruptors and are some of the best drone boats out there.

Yes i understand but those are generally drone, ammar ships. i would like to know if anyone tried to use tracking disruptors to signature/speed tank with a ham cruiser, or some other turret type ships?maybe blasters can work on closer range?

You can use TD's on any ships with spare mid's

However, with a arbitrator or its T2 versions, you can literally take 0 damage from turrets, while using other ships with TD does help reduce incoming damage, unless you are using 2 TDS or more, you will get damaged bit by bit unless your flying a smaller ship against a bigger ship.

If you REALLY want to signature tank with TDs and use HAMs, the only ship that could do that effectively is probably the Curse.

However, you would be throwing out half of the Curse's bonuses to do so since the Curse is used primarily as a Neuting boat.
