Hi all. I havent used hardwiring implants before. I have seen that in slot 9 I can have a gunslinger implant that gives a 3% bonus to all turret damage. Also in slot 10 there is an implant that gives a 3% bonus to large projectile damage.

a) Can i fit both?
b) Will that give me 6% bonus to large projectile damage or does it not work like that (i.e. does it not stack)?

Many thanks

Yes you can fit both and yes fitting both will give you (roughly) a 6% bonus to large projectile damage.

It doesn't work like that, they multiply to 6.09%.

Stacking penalty? Are implants exempt of that? I don't think so but I'm not entirely sure.

Implants don't have stacking penalties.

Stacking - Yes
Penalty - No

As one implant ads 3% the total from 2 implants becomes 5.09%.
Why? I'll show you.

If his dps without implants is 100, the first implant will multiply that by 1.03 (the same as adding 3%, but every 10 year old knows that), leaving him at 103 dps.

For two implants the formula would be 100*1.03*1.03 = 106.09 dps.

And just to make it even more geeky, here's a move advanced formula:
D1*(1+(M/100))^N=D2
where
D1 = damage without implants
D2 = damage with implants
M = the % added by your implants (assuming they are all the same)
N = number of implants
Example: 100*(1+(3/100))^2=106.09

You can make a formula for different implants too but im to lazy right now, anyway in the end the best advice I can give you is USE EFT

Just to clarify, every implant/hardwiring has a slot, you can have 1 implant/hardwiring in each slot.
