"This sums it up right here. A very Gallentean attitude. "We can do what we want""
I wasn't aware that having an opinion was a Gallente invention. Figures, anytime anyone has fun, they would want to take credit. |

Originally by: Seriphyn Inhonores You tell me how letting enemies of your Holy Empire turn up to your celebratory functions is NOT absurd.
Considering the political positions espoused by some of the women you try to get in the pants of, your tendency to frequent things like Angel Cartel bars, and your rank as commander of your Federation-loyal paramilitary force, I don't see any difference between what you do and what you're accusing them of doing. Or are you simply saying that absurdity is solely the birthright of Federation citizens? |

Edited by: Lyn Farel on 21/03/2011 18:26:48 There is no 'fraternization' with the enemy, but civility and openess.
There is also nothing, no harm, these enemies can do in the Knighthood walls.
There will also be no 'arrestations' of said enemies when they are invited to visit the Hall for two reasons : breaching one's own words is not something to be expected from an honest Amarrian, and going against this decision of the Knighthood to dialog with hostile entities equals going against the very meaning of the Reclaiming itself.
Thank you for your attention.
Regards, Farel. |

It was quite a nice ball, even if I regretfully had to sneak out early, before Seri's illustrious arrival.
But considering they let you, Seriphyn, inside to have a look around, you're not quite the right party to complain at the guest list, also considering that an open invitation was given in open channels right before it with the remark to bring friends if so desired.
Personally I'm much pleased that the Knights did this event without making a fuss over who came in and went out. Giving out an open invitation will undoubtedly attract some guests with shady backgrounds after all, the increased security did make everything go quite smoothly.
As an aside, the waltz is obvious a Caldari invention. It's much to orderly to be thought up by a Gallente. |

The definition of fraternisation is associating with others in a brotherly or friendly way; especially with an enemy. I'd say that fraternisation is a perfect description of what you've been doing. |

Why? I have no need to, but posting an open house invitation to the public might have something to do with their attendance. Just a hunch, maybe you should have it analyzed by the FIO just to be sure. You should probably reflect on this thread and your 'integrity' next time you visit the Keep and try to get tail from "my baby girl". And yeah, what miss Akahoshi said. Have a good day, dude. |

It's no different than several prominent Amarrian Loyalists who are received courteously at my events publicly and at the Midnight Opera too on weekly basis. You should do your homework before spouting nonsense at galnet. It disgusts me how you loyalist block can be such a bunch of hypocrites even towards yourselves. When we are made aware of their attendance, we let them know about our displeasure. Indeed, in the past standings have been adjusted where appropriate, and I'm sure that they will be again in the future. So it's consistency rather than hypocrisy. But on the subject of hypocrisy, if I were to respond to one of your posts on a Sani Sabik-themed thread you'd accuse me of stalking you. So presumably that means that you're now stalking me? |

Well, if you want to argue on semantics, sure, but this is not the definition I had in mind. But more this one : Fraternization is "turning people into brothers", from 'frater' as a root, which in this case I take that means turning them into brothers, and not just acting in a civil or opened manner to actually, just listen or debate, quite much like in the NEA. I think there is a misunderstanding here, admiral, unless you are calling some of our members traitors to the Empire ? But I can't believe that. |

You better rush to update your intelligence quarters in that case Blake. I'd be rather amused to know that some of my prominent Amarrian guests are now Kos to PIE. Considering that this is not YOUR thread, you have to try a little harder to reach that statement. Pilot Farel,
It is HIGHLY inappropriate to drink and carouse with people who are responsible for the deaths of milions of innocent Amarr lives. Further, to do so is an insult to their memories and thier families. Our Empress has declared that the Nation must be destroyed.
Please note the difference. We are at war with the Gallente, but a Gallente citizen may renounce his Federation in favor of God and Empire. There is hope that their corrupt government will cease to exist. With the Minmatar it is a matter of reclimation, not eradication. With the Nation, however, our Empress has demanded of us thier complete and total extermination. I highly doubt that a flagon of ale and a few songs are going to alter their programming. Do not be decieved by these servants of Moloch. They are not interested in being your friend. All they want is for you to serve the will of Sansha.
I am very, very disappointed in you.

As previously stated this was a publicly announced event. There were some party crashers who made it past our security due to the nature of the event.
However, at no time did any member of the Knighthood associate or carouse with Jia-Lei Lian. I I would encourage my brothers and sisters amongst the faithful not to be deceived by these inflammatory accusations made against us.

If you wish to reference the original invitation, I did say we would reserve the right to remove guests at our own will. As far as I know, nobody was removed the whole night. Nobody was being disruptive, and frankly I have nothing wrong with inviting enemies to the ball because they would've invited themselves anyways. KotMC does not conduct business with these "negative standings" entities; them being there frankly is an olive branch to those capsuleers who wish to see a lighter side of the ill-perceived Empire (that generally spits in their face and kicks them out of their Masquerade ball). Though if we want to gossip (and maybe I can make some money off of this)...I do remember at one point people thought that I was an agent of Nation. Any writers want to buy my story... |
