Has anyone else noticed a dropping trend in the value of PI products? We were all (reasonably) predicting, when Incursion hit, that prices would likely go up due to cut supply, but now it seems the opposite is materializing. My only guess as to why this is happening would be one of the following: - Major producers are refusing to sell their stockpiles until average prices rise to a level allowing them to break even for the loss of production. They have thus been holding on to them, or simply allowing them to trickle on to the market.
- People are training PI skills of their own and have stopped buying the majority of POS fuel from the market.

Even with the current prices, it is possible to fund an account without leaving hisec, with barely any skill investment, trivial time investment, and basically no risk. I'd love for that to be sustainable. But obviously it is not. |

Maybe I haven't had enough coffee yet, but wouldn't this be causing prices to increase? |

You are quite right. Guess I could use some coffee as well. |

PI was barely worth the effort before Incursions. The prices kept plummeting then, and apparently keep doing so.
And when Dust 514 comes along players are going to have pay someone to defend their 1000k perimeters?
As I've said before, the scale of PI is laughingly unrealistic and the rewards no better than mining at best.
Well, for you folks trying to make a living digging dirt on planets, let's hope something happens to make it all worth your while eventually.

It may reward about the same as mining, but the time spent on it is so small. I'd say the prices are coming down as people are finally figuring out how to actually use PI since the update.

I think many people started with PI after the first release and dropped it shortly after, because of RSI syndrome.
Now the click fest has been removed and people are slowly coming back, because the news is spreading more and more, that you can earn a decent amount of ISK with a few clicks. |

I imagine many people sent their 5m sp on passive income skills. Datacores are also falling in price for last months. So this is not only PI products related entirely. |
