Misfit Toys is now in control of Suddenly Ninjas' public channel, The Ninja Alliance.

For years this channel has served as an important recruitment and information gathering tool for ninja salvagers across the galaxy, however the Toymaker has deemed it necessary that it be taken away. The channel admins were systematially removed and the motd replaced after hot dropping their small blops fleet into a ****cage of smartbombing battleships. We wish them a speedy recovery.

More to follow...

All hail the Toymaker.

Step one: Become CEO of corp.
Step two: Petition CCP to give you control of channel since former CEO and channel owner is no longer playing.
Step three: Leave Ninjas, form your own corp.
Step four: Screw with the public channel of the corp you used to run.

Most epic heist ever. You stay classy, VP.

I don't really think it's 'ninjaing' if you are the former CEO and Alliance director and they left you with full mod rights to the channel

Ninja-Fail - Ninja'ing implies that you snuck in and took something covertly.

Kill-Fail - Just checked the killboard, wow you must be proud that you killed three of their ships (of mostly newer members)

The only way this would be 'not a fail' is if somebody else ninja'd your account

I'm surprised TEARS would have BLOPS, I thought they went to crap over a year ago with poor leadership and too many noobs.

I hope your reason for doing this was greater than 'for the tears'. As it stands this is hardly epic but certainly amusing Razz

Considering that theres no game mechanic to hand over absolute ownership of a channel to someone else, you never stopped owning the channel?

I don't think you can ninja something you already own. That would be like, stealing your own pants or something, man.

You sure griefed them.

I would be on the verge of tears if I had to remake a chat channel. All that effort to make a new channel and a few seconds to change any of the mentions of the old public channel to redirect people to the new public channel.

Stunnning power play, chap.

I especially like the part where your bridge burning act involved cyno'ing three stealth bombers and a Rapier into a friendly smartbomb fleet to kill them. The idea was certainly there, but you could have done better.

This thread is now about Suddenly Ninjas successfully canbaiting a freighter last night.

Freighters can't loot from cans, but they can still try, and get corp aggro.

Not even the loss of my priceless and epic stealth bomber can stop the carnage. Splash one freighter and orca shortly after Carebear agents used their fancy dev haxs to steal our pubic channel. We iz teh doomd.

Thank you, Paul. Unfortunately this impacts people I like such as yourself.

While the Ninja's show a brave public face, they are internally freaking out. Did I mention we own their forums, youtube channel, and several billion ISK in investments from their members?

Who would like to see the logs of the internal corp strife and communication between their directorship?

We are in deep, my friends.

Stay tuned...

I have to say, I've got nothing but props VP as this was incredibly well done. Ingame channel, forums, Cyb's latest investment (which got me for 1bil lol), cyno'ing guys into a smartbomb fleet was just icing on the Toymakers cake. Hell, Cyb even hosts my blog. A pretty thorough ****ing :D

Don't know about the leadership strife as thats above my paygrade, but well done all around. There are lots of lessons to be learned here :D
