try to download this file

http://dl.eve-files.com/media/corp/Diddyo/ALLHangers_1920x1080_edited.wmv

and download dreamscene

Then with some patchin you should get dreamscene running on windows 7 (if you are using that otherwise it is easy iirc) once dreamscene is installed rightclick the video file and click: set as desktop background

edit: you can also download the ones above me didn't know it was linked on this site but use dreamscene to set as desktop background

another edit: the ones I linked are all looped if I linked the right one so that you hardly notice it starts over.

this link is one of the older threads that has the four races looped separately and also the awesome planet video flybys.

Did anyone actually get this video working in Dreamscene? I've been trying for a while.

(admittedly I'm on Win 7 which Dreamscene wasn't designed for)

On the other hand, I just noticed from that pic the OP posted that the Amarr hangar has a certain "Cathedral" feel to it... especially those windows... Laughing

I used it on Vista for awhile. Got tired of it tho. but it was pretty neat. Dint seem to use any system resources to run, nothing i could notice anyhow. But then again it was on vista.

I've never actually used dreamscene before although it came with vista ultimate. Trying to use it now for these awesome files and It's giving me fits for having dual graphics cards. ugh

hmmmmm
I'm running dual GTx470's in SLI, and not having any issues with dreamscene on win7 x64

------

Someone asked about a 250mb movie file?
I'm using dreamscene to loop a 720p version of Home about 4GB all up, memory usage, disk usage, GPU usage, and CPU usage are all minimal.
This is using slightly less than running a movie in VLC player, I'm assuming that's because there's no overhead for a media player here.

One thing, I noticed in a couple of high action scenes, HD movies were glitching up and having FPS issues. Guessing this is because dreamscene is designed to prioritise all other programs above itself.

Looks awesome btw, gonna download those eve hanger loops later and see what they look like Very Happy
