OS usage statistics
Most of these numbers are wildly flawed since they often look at subsets of websites that usually cater to a particular demographic. W3schools numbers are probably high since a disproportionate number of folks use linux for development and their statistics come from folks who do web development.
More importantly web browser based OS statistics don't correlate to actual desktop usage and certainly don't directly correlate to how many people use a particular OS for 1 specific game.
Its moot point anyway, CCP is tied to directX as a platform and certainly isn't going to be converting to or supporting opengl any time soon. If they were we would likely have seen that motion in the development of the engine backing incarna as making such a move is ideally done during the creation of a new engine.
In general if Khronos doesn't get their act together in achieving feature and usability parity with direct3D we don't be seeing much usage of opengl for games period. It will end up primarily as the mobile / lite device platform via opengl ES.
