As of some time ago, EVEMon and other apps that connect to API via HTTPS have trouble getting any response. Can anyone from CCP have a look if any API webserver is acting up?

Thanks in advance.

We've been experiencing high response times this morning. We're working to solve this as soon as possible. The API is still up, but requests can take more than 30 seconds at this stage.

@Stillman, could you please keep us up to date if you have more information?

Without trying to sound like a whiny *******, wouldn't you expect a company that takes it's business and customers serious to report issues like that on the forums or whatever, with the API being kinda crucial these days? I mean it's not about the "I R cuztomer, I wantz 100% full service and azzkissing", it's more of a "lets make a quick, short post on the issue so people know what's up. Just to be sure".

Perhaps I'm just old fashioned.

The fact that CCP Stillman responded within 10 min of my OP is proof that CCP cares.
I have been on other MMO's where the dev's didn't responded at all for days.

We're still working actively on resolving this issue. Note the API isn't down, there's just a minor delay in returning results.

We're truly sorry for any inconvenience this might cause. I can't promise when we'll have the response time back to normal levels again, but rest assured we'll keep working on it till that's the case.

Just putting the info, this is not HTTPS only and the minor delay is like... never. (As far as I'm concerned).

Happy fixing, hope you squash the bug soon. Wink

According to the numbers I have, the response time was between 60 and 90 seconds.

We've fixed the issue though. Everything should be back to normal.

Mmm... Although I do get it once every now and then, I still can't get it most of the time.

Seems like we're experiencing a small relapse. We're on top of it.

My 100k request queue loves the 30 sec responses Laughing (especially since I force close them after 5 sec without response).

Hope it gets sorted soon.

Is there any new update as to the progress of the issue. I am still not getting the information in eft or eve mon

That's why we have raised the timeout limit to 20 sec at EVEMon. It still can be configured higher in Secret settings.
