I recently upgraded my GPU from a 9800 GT Nvidia to a 6950 HD Radeon. I installed CoD 4 and everything is working flawlessly. I installed EVE Online, when I begin the game the text from the login screen and on is blurred, as are some of the lines present on the interface. My skill-level indicator boxes are ROUND instead of square. Changing the AA level does nothing until it is set to 'Off' in which case the game begins to flicker, but does not crash. For some reason I am unable to submit screenshots; the key is correct, but when I access the Capture > Screenshots folder, no preview is available for the screenshots that are listed and nothing is uploaded to imgur.com. In addition, when alt+tabbing the game displays distorted colors for a second. Not a huge deal, but pretty annoying.

I have not had this issue with any Nvidia card previously used, wondering if it is a driver issue or something else.

Go to the ATI control panel and make sure the smoothvison HD antialiasing setting is 'Box. The other formats like edge detect and tent give me the same blutty text and lines on my 5850

Bump, as this issue has remained after 2 uninstalls and reinstalls.

Ha, I wish. What CCC is that even? I have 11.2 drivers with whatever the newest CCC is. Mine doesn't look like that or have those options. I DID however, fix the issue, it's the morphological AA, it thinks the games hard edges need to be AA'd.

You should have MLAA disabled in most games anyways. It works ok on some games that doesn't support normal AA but can cause garbage or performance issues with some games. This been happening since MLAA was introduced in 10.9 or 10.10 drivers btw so not new issue at all.

Thanks, definitely didn't know that, new to ATI cards here. It did fix it, if anyone else is having this issue! I'll keep that in mind about games that don't have AA though. Thats fixed, now on to why my monitor can't display maximum resolution. . .
