Did you roam through faction war space? At least in Amarr regions, fw space is dead. Amamake is in Gallente fw space, so maybe all all of it isn't empty.

You could also look around some of the Hisec islands in Lonetrek. There are usually locals there who would be happy to meet a new friend.

I'm not too sure where we were, to be frank with you. We didn't plot any particular course or had any particular plans in mind other than we were gonna do in combat.

With that said, the next time I'm sure I'll plan ahead and try out the areas suggested to me in the thread. It can't hurt (except for the ones who stand in our way).

Reliable sources have suggested to me Lonetrek is even emptier and duller than the areas of lowsec I visited. But I'll give it a try. Thanks.

You could also try Enden in Metropolis. IIRC, there's a DED plex in that system that sees a lot of traffic. And having lost a ship or two there, there's usually someone spoiling for a fight.

That's more like it! Now we're getting there.

I find it very hard to believe I was unlucky not to engage anyone in combat when I was in a pretty poorly fitted ship flying around in lowsec. The tough guys on this very forum have proclaimed how they "pounce" and "murder" anyone there and I haven't seen any of that action, despite doing numerous visits.

I shouldn't have to move into lowsec full time to get some action. It should be there already, welcoming me with open arms.

I recently flew around in lowsec with a buddy of mine to see if we could hunt down some easy victims. Yes, we were bored. Turns out everyone flew away, scared to engage into combat with us, even though our ships were nothing to write home to mummy about.

My conclusion is, after spending several hours in lowsec, that people in general have grown soft and only flex their muscles in lowsec because "that's how it is". I feel sorry for you chickens.

They were fit for pve.

You sir act as if they know not what they do.

I think they did the completely correct thing.

Did you stick around/follow them to see if they got some pvp ships, or did you just conveniently continue along on your roam?

I don't appreciate you changing my initial post for your own leisure. If you feel you need to berate someone then I suggest you do it in front of your bathroom mirror.

The only troll here is you, coming here pretending to be a tough guy without having anything to show for it. Go back into your cave.

I'm not a "sir", but nice try. In any case, how you could get the impression of me mentioning they didn't know what they were doing is a mystery. Being a carebear doesn't mean that at all. Stop trying to read in things that haven't been said, for the purpose of trolling.

Yes we did. If you bothered reading the thread before pressing the reply button like a re-tard pressing its tube for food, you would realise that at one point a guy was trying to lure us into a trap where his buddies were waiting.

You really should assume and bet less and start basing yourself in reality instead. If you can't read the thread in an orderly manner then I suggest you learn how to read properly or don't attempt reading the thread at all.

Not difficult.

Not at all. My opinion still stands that lowsec has become a fertile mould for carebear spawns who are too afraid to conduct serious business in nullsec and find hisec too dull.

It doesn't take more than a few visits to realise this is the case. I could certainly have blown a few transports into pieces but that isn't why you would travel in lowsec in the first place.

I'm not interested in personal feuds, it's obvious that lowsec has diminished into a dull, empty space lacking any sort of clarity and excitement.

To the OP: I know this will come as a shock to you, but people aren't obliged to sit still, turn off all their defense mods, and wait for you to kill them just because you and your gank squad are looking for kills.

From tomorrow I will live in lowsec for three (that's 3 for the rest of you ignorant illiterates) months with my main and a selected few members of my own corporation.

If it remains the same dull, void and utterly mind-numbingly boring place that I've come to experience lately then I will probably leave the game.

"Good riddance!", I hear you squirm. Yeah, that's right carebears. Someone else will have to shoot your sorry face.

Not entirely sure where you read me saying that. I suppose you read one or two posts and in your own fantasies you decided something else was said.

This thread isn't even about that. It's about the soft attitude of the players residing in this area of space. It's supposed to be "dangerous" and from my experience it's nothing of the sort. Like I've mentioned before, I could have blown several transports, and sure, they were "easy targets", but in the end we wanted challenges but they shone with their absence.

Either that or they flew away, too scared to engage in any sort of combat. My ship was ill-fitted at best and my wingman was decent. Anyone with half a brain could probably have killed us on the spot.

This leads me to believe that lowsec isn't dangerous at all, it's a sanctum for scared people who want to play arrogant and tough badboys. Too afraid to do anything worth mentioning in null and too bored to engage in any activities in high.

This thread is about lowsec carebears, big boy. If you want to flex your nullsec e-peen I suggest you do it somewhere else where someone might care. Well done for totally not getting the subject at hand.

I'm sure there are. Even though I enjoy a good fleet fight as the next guy I'm not stupid. I won't be trumpeting out my locations, being a target for any idiot who happens to be in the vicinity.

I will live the "lowsec life", if you will.

Even though there is an astonishing, and amusing, amount of wannabe-tough guys popping up in my thread I must commend the ones who have given me advice on what sectors to visit.

Only goes to show how many ignorant carebears in disguise that reside on this forum, trying to poke their sticky fingers in matters that don't concern them.
