So I live in a ridiculously noisy household and normal microphones pick up *everything* that's going on around me, which kind of makes talking on vent a bit of a pain. I've been looking for something suitable that'll filter out the background noise but I could do with suggestions. I considered throat mics but the retail ones seem pretty gimmicky and low quality. Ideally I'm looking for a seperate mic rather than a headset, but I'll consider the latter if the doings can be folded out of the way or even removed. Cheers.  |

Well price isn't a huge issue as long as the quality is pretty decent. |

Okay so the clip mic isn't that great. In fact you more or less have to swallow the mic in order to get any sound out of it.  Looking at some steelseries headsets with the retractable boom mic, anyone have any experience with these? |
