I seemed to have made a small.... miscalculation.

In a realm of fire, where the blackness of a void was the common man's sky, I, Yulith Luss'Ferus, once led an army of darkness with my esteemed succubus of a lover, Zarusula. Well, it just so happens, two decades back, she wandered into a local village to tempt a man into acts of... well we all know what seductresses do.

Just so happens that said man that she had *ahem* relations with that night was actually a deity, visiting my home to, would you believe, spy on my armies! My dear and I, of course, knew nothing of such things until just recently when an avatar of said deity, wielding a sword of pure light, marching with his companions, entered my realm and cut through my forces fiercely.

In an attempt to fight back, I invoked the power of an ancient artifact. Seems I was misinformed about the nature of said artifact as I was under the impression it would literally remove the souls of the intruders from their bodies and send them to a far away place for all eternity.

No.

It sent -my- soul somewhere, I think you call this place.... Kisogo. Yes, that's the name. Not only that, but my form had changed drastically. A militant man called me a "Caldari Pilot"... what a pilot was I had no idea until he smacked me upside the head and asked me what in gods name was my problem when I told him my idea of a battleship was something that sailed through dark waters and shot arrows of fire at local rebels.

Needless to say, I punched the Officer in the face, but no one told me this new body was so untrained! The Officer told me "I like your spirit kid, now get in that Ibis and get out of my face!" I entered the "cockpit" of the large contraption and pressed the Launch button. Next thing I know, I'm wildly flying through an infinite void of stars with absolutely no clue what to do!

But that wasn't the worst part, dear pilots.

I heard a familiar voice over the radio. A female voice. "Hey Yulith, looks like we're in this together! Looks like you haven't figured out how to use your ship yet!" Oh yes, that's right. The succubus had come too, and she was a better pilot.

So suffice to say, I am now doing pointless errands for the Caldari Navy, in a hope that one day I will show them what the crushing power of a fallen Overking can do... and... *sigh*... she'll be with me the whole time. Fortunately the body she became one with is nice to the eyes.

Perhaps I will meet other pilots, lost or experienced, and we can share stories of wartime and bloodshed.

Well, This is new.

Hi there.

And greets back to you. Perhaps I will be more coherent in times to come, as my ship - and head - have stopped spinning erratically. I found a trade hub filled with people offering lucrative deals... perhaps too lucrative. After being flooded with "the best deal around" by several shady pilots, I have retreated to a station in a nearby system, where I am devising my next steps with little luck as this shift in universes has taken a nasty toll on my sense of reality.

I'm starting to think that there's just something about the last few stages of capsuleer training.

Greetings, pilot, congratulations on your new license, and you may count on my prayers for your, er, continued good mental health.

Sounds like you found Jita. The correct course of action would be to leave.

I would gladly offer you 10 million of ISK for your ancient artifact, if you can locate it. That amount of ISK will be proven useful in your new life as a, spaceship pilot.

It is a new day here and I awoke this morning with a note near my wallet from my witty travel companion that said "They tip well in this system." I thought she had learned her lesson, but ISK is ISK and I was able to buy several books on firearms, namely missiles.

The Caldari Navy seems to have put a minimal trust in me, more than I had initially expected... Perhaps I will see how this military operates compared to my once own.

The sanity has not been treating me as hoped... such things as colliding my ship into asteroids seem like fun, considering these... force fields protect me from taking notable damage from the chunks of minerals. I shot down enemy ships and was surprised at how unwell trained they were... pssh, two missiles blew those sorry pilots out of the stars. I do hope there are more of them.

Either way, I shall continue forward. Perhaps it is a new era.

And if any of you see my mistress wandering about aimlessly, tell her to make money from the pockets of men, not from their pants... err.. yes...

It's less their training (though maybe that, too) and more their equipment. The hydrostatic capsule that you use to pilot your ship is a neural shunt allowing you a level of fine control over your ship's systems that is unattainable with conventional craft. In time, it will come to feel very much like a sort of second body (especially if you take to flying STRACs).

Congratulations, oh ... former warlord: you're a member of an elite class of pilots and will be able to single-handedly massacre entire fleets before too long.

Of course, that's if you prefer what boils down to mere murder to the challenge of hunting your peers.

Also, if you are interested in speaking with a specialist (your legal status is such that it's difficult to force you to see one), I can recommend one. He wasn't much help to me, in the end, but then my ... symptoms ... were quite different from yours, and he was certainly a capable psychiatrist.
