It's only a little thing, but having the signatures showing up as overview-style icons is pretty darned cool.
Thankyou to whichever little elf was responsible for this update, whenever it happened.

Yeah, very cool.
Also the Probes are much easier to see now when they go below the elevation plane of the planets in the solar system map. Now you don't have to rotate the camera view to the bottom in order to see the Probes.
The only thing left for improvement now is to make the arrows on the Probes show wide from all viewing angles. |

Also +1 to new graphics, made my ninja way easier to know before hand what is a BS, Industrial or Cruiser/bellow.

What? New icons are smaller, with less contrast and just overall harder to see. Hate them. |

I totally agree with the earlier clear dots are totally inferior to the newer non-contrasted symbols! |

I agree that the symbols could use a little tweaking, but balancing out the usability of discernibility versus legibility, I think the symbols are better. Perhaps a non-transparent background, like a black rondel, might help? |

Well the low contrast of the new symbols I find to be very poor in some situations as well, frankly was happier with the dots. Also there is a niggling question that I've yet to figure out - when we had dots the sig was in the centre of the dot. With the new little arrows, is the sig at the tip of the arrow or at the centre of the arrow? And yes it can make a difference  |
