In low-security space (and only there), there will also be a chance of receiving a blueprint copy of the boss ship type itself, the Sansha supercarrier.

Does this imply low-sec and below (low-sec and null-sec) or is he really saying that only low-sec (and not null-sec) Incursions will possibly drop the supercarrier bpc. It sounds crazy, but maybe it's there attempt at getting people into low-sec, so I wasn't sure.

0.0 is low security space, but It's just like :CCP: to provide ambiguous information.

no 0.0 is null :P

low implies that it's not actually none...at least 0.1

CCP also announced a new Sansha "mother ship" after deliberately CHANGING THE CLASS NAME OF MOTHER SHIPS TO SUPER CARRIERS and publicly stating "We have yet to have see a mother ship".

Sometimes the people who type these things up don't know the game as well as they should.

As for the SC/MS BPC dropping in null: 3. ?????

The biggest ships are only appearing in Alliance-controlled null to make the big boys even richer.

I get that he said "(and only there)" my question is in regards to whether CCP considers the term "low-sec" to include "null-sec", or if they are saying 0.0 won't get these. The fact that a few posters have already stated different views on the matter reinforces that the language may not be clear enough.

Low security means anything below 0.5

One would think common sense was in abundance. Yet its a rare commodity.

u sure bout that ;p? cause low would mean close to 0, hell even if you include 0 that would exclude 0.0 because 0.0 systems are in the negatives, I don't believe any system is an actual 0.0 true sec.

In general named systems (Yulai and Jita, for example) have >0.0 security status while number-letter systems (HED-PE and EC-P8R, for example) have 0.0 security status or lower. There are however a few exceptions, as they are some named systems that have a 0.0 security status.

However, if a system has a security status higher then 0.0, that doesn't mean it is perfectly safe! In systems with security lower then 0.5 - the so-called low security (low-sec) systems, there is no CONCORD NPC police, which means that human pirates attack other players; in other words, PvP combat is possible. On a map, those systems are colored in shades of red - the darker, the lower the system security.

Bolded for important parts that highlight the difference between 0.0 security status and low security status.

As the way it should be.

There is no room for poor people in this game.

So if Irani Firecam is right (and they are the only one providing reference for their point...).

Do you think that this will actually create a significant change in low-sec use/population? Since the Incursions are very localized and random, I can't see this move having a lasting impact.
