something iv always been wondering about is that, every ship just move left and right, up and down..
and aslong as you have truster back you will be able to turn.. just like an airplane..

but, then again, no air? no lift, then how can you push more air on one side to turn?..

i would like the aspect of support thrusters to be implemented.

Either as just a Graphical adjustment,

or make a module line like inertia stabs and nanofibers that you have a set of trusters to increase turnspeed by having side force infront of the ship "so you can turn on a dime"

It is significantly more efficient to adjust the course of space-born objects like satellites and ships with internal gyroscopes.

Course orientation and course adjustment is abit diffrent,

i'm talking about something that adjusts the course of a spacevessel,
and i dont really see why you put a angel /course messuring item into the thread?

I've asked about this before, and what it boils down to is that they use fluid-dynamics to simulate space, and that's why all the spaceships act like sea-faring vessels.

Internet submarines that look like internet spaceships. Wink

Fighters and pods do have a thruster animation though.

EDIT to add: I too would prefer vacuum-like movement like the Starfury in Babylon 5.

and as long as you keep going the same direction and speed, you can turn your engines off and just drift :P

but honestly, scientific accuracy isn't exactly the main selling point of EVE.

well the animationpart really should't be that hard to implement thou, i mean, if they can take the time to make 40 lights on a spaceship they can take the time to fix the trusters,

and beside, why do they have blinking lights? never gotten that part,.. cannot be for navigational purpose, best bet is to show where ppl are supposed to shoot or something lol.
