[BEGIN TRANSMISSION]

The CONCORD DIA (Directive Intelligence Agency) has intercepted a Sansha's Nation data stream that includes the following information:

- 22:00
- "Shield harmonic frequency modulated to accommodate ambient mass distribution and fusion reactor radiation interference from 0-25k and 30k-500k"
- A slave is "returning home" for "core fragment harvesting operation."

Approach all potentially affected star systems at your own risk and immediately report any Sansha's Nation activity to the proper authorities. That is all.

- 22:00

This is likely the time in which the incursion will take place.

- "Shield harmonic frequency modulated to accommodate ambient mass distribution and fusion reactor radiation interference from 0-25k and 30k-500k"

"Ambient Mass Distribution" sounds like a fancy means of saying "Space Gunfire". I've little idea what Fusion Reactor Radiation Interference could be, but if it's accommodating between 0-25k and 30-500k, you'll likely need weapons to fire in the range of 25-30k in order to bypass the shield harmonic frequency.

- A slave is "returning home" for "core fragment harvesting operation."

One whom was taken by the Sansha in returning in order to perform a new operation. This likely signifies the location that the incursion will take place.

A list of potential sites is being compiled as I post this.

You may want to keep an eye on Vevelonel, Seriphyn.

Yes it maybe a good idea.. Also have all your ships for the next 12 hours locked out to her and any other secruity measure you can think of too keep her safe.. You don't want to take any chances on losing her again.

Perhaps Fusion Reactor Radiation Interference has something to do with missiles, or warp disruptors even? Perhaps it'll be immune to warp disruptors that don't fit within that range either.

EDIT: Ambient Mass Distribution might also mean Kinetic weapons, such as Minmatar Projectiles. Fusion Reactor Radiation Interference could mean EM, perhaps. If that's so, perhaps such weapons would be ineffective, and it'd be a better idea to rely on thermal damage?

My theory is that the shields have been optimized against any outside interferance in the ranges of 0 kilometers to 25 kilometers, and from a range of 30 kilometers to five hundred kilometers.

That would mean there is a five-kilometer window of ranges where projected energy weapons would have any sort of effectiveness. I recommend concentrating pulse laser and kinetic projectile weaponry fire from this range to break through the defences of the Revenant.

That is all I can add at this point, I will not be able to personally attend. Good hunting pilots.

edit: Sebastien is of the same mind it seems. Gah these blasted out-of-pod communication interfaces.

It depends on what you are using as fuel but the only thing you get out of all reactors is neutrons.

Neutron blasters perhaps.

Possibly could mean using Irridium or Uranium charges?

Perhaps someone can run a simulation and see if those rangers are achieved by using those rounds?

****! What a time to be waiting out routine pod maintenance.. Once someone tries some of these theories maybe you can enlighten us?

This suggests two weapon systems to me.

1) 0-25k range - smart bombs, fusion reactor powered therefore probably neutron radiation requiring EM resists. (Could Sansha have invented a new weapons system? As far as I am able to determine, no weapons catalogues offer Neutron Smartbombs. A Capital version of the True Sansha Large EMP Smartbomb perhaps?)
2) 30-500k range - mass distribution suggests kinetic residence. (What weapons systems have this range? A potentially worrying development.)

If this is correct it leaves a potentially damage free envelope between 25k-30k.

And perhaps more important you didn't pod the rookies amongst the responders. However for my part discretion over come valour and I withdrew from the scene before the very end.
