Hi.

What ships can you use to run missions in for the different levels of agents? E.g. for kill missions, can you solo level 3, 4 or 5 if it exist in a raven with t2 equipment? Will it be easy on the average?

Thanks.

Though you can use almost any ship (like an Assault Frigate to run a level 4 - fun but not very efficient), a rule of thumb is this:

Lvl 1) Frigate, Destroyer
Lvl 2) Cruiser
Lvl 3) Battlecruiser
Lvl 4) Battleship, T3 cruiser
Lvl 5) Carrier or very pimped-out "lvl 4" ships. (Be sure you know what you're doing and what you're getting in to)

You can easily solo l1-l3, l4s can be soloed in T1 gear if you are careful, usually the big tip in l4's is aggro management, watch what you're firing at or you may end up biting off more than you can chew. If you have T2 tank, you can easily sit in most l4's without too much worry.

Eve Survival Mission Reports can help you with aggro management

Thank you.

What about courier missions? Can you solo them in a badger, transport and or freighter for levels 3, 4 or 5 agents?

Yes, though usually a frig will suffice. There are only a handful of (L4) missions which use up to 3000m^3.

Courier missions don't involve any combat, they are literally 'haul this from point a to point b'. The only things you need to make sure of is that you have a ship with the cargo space, the smaller ones can be carried in a frigate, and that they don't lead into low sec but the mission panel will indicate if the route leads you there, so just check the details.

By the way, remember to use a destroyer with tractor beams and salvagers to salvage after popping all the pirates.

It is very fast to pick up all the loot. Very Happy

Yes, but a destroyer its still a cheap and effeftive salvage plataform. For soomeone low on isk it wold be a acceptable choice.

I actually ran a character up to Level 4 in The Forge by doing only the courier missions for Storage division agents. It takes a little longer than doing a few kill missions, and you will need to keep a stable of agents at about the same level and quality, but it is low stress.

The only frigate I have found that can handle most L2 missions is the Magnate, although I suppose a Vigil might also be able to do it.

Edit: Even at Level 4, you won't need a freighter. Not sure about Level 5 if there are any Level 5 courier missions.

Just out of curiosity: Is it at all possible to solo combat missions in a stealth bomber? (If so: what lvl?)

It is probably possible IF you are careful (I've not tried). The real problem comes with the weapons that the SBs use and the fragility of the ship.

With the weapons involved, I would expect that level 4s would be good, but the ship is so fragile I think a level 2 could be too much for it.

Now, I would definitely stay away from any mission with Angels or Caldari as the enemy. Missiles will always hit you and you are so fragile.

Did I mention that a SB is fragile?

So basically if I want to do missions in one, get a friend with a tough ship and lots of guns to aggro all the mobs while I shoot them then?

This will work for any ship, not just SB.
As the SB is made of paper it is not a great choice (well except for ratting BS in 0.0 maybe) for PVE. It will also do crap DPS vs frigate sized stuff.
You're much better of flying an Assault Frigate in a support role. You can solo up to L4 in it (no missiles enemies !), but you'll start having trouble killing stuff in L3s as you just can't do enough DPS.
An AF/BS combo is very effective at killing everything tough.

Also don't forget that the missiles on a stealth bomber are battleship class. That means that if you hit a frigate with it, it almost does no damage at all. In fact, some frigates (especially in level 4 missions) may not be killable at all with those.

If you are with a group of people who normally do L4 in battleships, it can be great fun to use your stealth bomber as you do as much damage as they do. If there are triggers in a mission make sure you cloak your ship before each spawn, so you won't get aggro. Also carry a couple of target painters and everyone in your team will be happy with you.

Hi. In Intercept The Saboteurs (Guristas), I have been badly jammed. Will an ECCM work well in this mission? Thank you.

EDIT: It seems it works!
