The Gila has an additional midslot compared to the Ishtar, it has a shield resistance bonus and it is a natural shield tanker.

Hmmmm hmmmm hmmmm i really wouldnt know!

Ishtar has high racial term/kin resists and hole in EM, and a little hole in EX.

Gila tank is more omni, and higher. But it has problems with cap regen an CPU - if you don't want to waste slots for co-processors, you'll need to think a bit fitting it.

I've never heard about Ishtar/Gila in WH PvE (saw them in k-space sanctums/heavens only) but Gila will be better imo.

Way to answer a question.

Gila ofc, Isthar was made redundant once Gila came along.

Gila, it's a natural shield tanker. Furthermore, if you are running group (Sleeper?) ops in WH space then the Gila's high resists will be very handy if you are running a logi ship, which I'm guessing you probably will.

1)Be aware that drone ships are meh in wh space due to sleepers shooting drones
2)I threw together some fits for pvp, and found that the gila had about 70k EHP compared to the ishtar's 40k.
3)For full on tanking in pve:
Gila: damage control, 3 power diags, 4 LSEs, 2 invulns, 2 extender rigs and an em rig: 126k EHP with its lowest resist being EM at 72%
Ishtar: same fit, but - the em rig and one LSE, +one em hardener and a power diag : 86k EHP, lowest resist is EM with 75%

With 3 large shield RR running the ishtar tanks 1700 while the gila tanks 1500.

I'd say the answer depends on whether you want to be able to pvp with it/how many logis you bring on OPs. I personally would go with the gila though.

Meh. Not really true. Ishtar (armor Ishtar, mind, the way god intended) mounts a mean sig/speed/armor tank. Gila is better if you just want an omni shield tank.

Even then, though, the inability to fit a second SDA and a second (or third) omni gimps Gila damage and the need for a DLA really screws with the already limited CPU. It's just a ***** to fit no matter what you do. That is, if you want to actually do significant damage at range the way a top tier drone boat should.
