I've come across an issue that's preventing my full enjoyment of a Stealth Bomber, and the issue is that sometimes when I throw a bomb, this happens - Yes, that's me hitting myself with a bomb.

While this is certainly possible in some cases, it's mathematically impossible if my ship flies slower than 1.5km/s, which is well over my bomber's speed of about 400m/s (30km travel, 15km blast radius, 10 second detonation time). Not only do I hit myself, but I don't hit the target that's 30km in front of me, which tells me that my bomb is not traveling the full 30km distance.

I know the 2,000 pilot fleet fight in LQX had the same bug, but with that much lag, it was to be expected. In my case, the system has 15 people at most in it.

Has anyone else had problems like this? With bombs being an important tool in PvP, they should at least fly correctly.

The position of objects displayed on your overview has little to do with the position of objects in space on the server. This is a known issue that CCP has been made aware of, but has not yet publicly acknowledged. I do not expect a fix anytime soon, as the issue has been around for over four years. Petitions related to to this bug will be met with the same callus disregard that other reimbursement tickets are handled with.

You may wish to add a blurb regarding your specific issue to this thread:

LT will add it when he gets time.
