It would appear that the male creator isn't working at all. In addition to the above, when prompted to recreate one of my male characters, you are left with an everlasting loading bar. Someone clearly leaned on the wrong switch at the clone bank. |

Just tried the Minmatar male, it does work the same as women. |

No male avatars are loading for me either, and I can't recreate any male avatars. It just gets stuck at the loading screen.
Female avatars work fine though. |

Empty Char slot:::
1. No Min Males are showing up on bloodline selection. 2. Min Female sculpting all works now, almost all of the colour panels fixed, but the hair colour picker dissapears as soon as its used, unless you click the slider or buttons when its "invisible" to regain colour control if you want to pick another colour. 3. When you try to progress to the Portrait selection for Min Female you are softlocked on a black screen, and no buttons are clickable (even the top left ones or help button). Esc menu does not refresh it, not able to progress. |

Have tried CC tool on XP and Win7 with both male and female toons but get same result. After creating features, clothing, etc, when I go to the portrait menu all I get is a black screen. Have waited up to 15 min for it to render with no change. Have also tried lo-res settings, fullscreen vs windowed but get same (non) result each time. |

Interesting, it may be that SisiLauncher repairs some files in addition to the manual patch. I didn't run the Launcher, just ran the patch. So to re-iterate, some are having trouble creating female or male characters, some are seeing the backgrounds and selections, some are missing half of the bloodline avatars and 99.99% seem to be unable to go to the portrait mode successfully. When Sisi comes back online I'll do a couple screenshots as well. |

I got an email response to my bug report, just before downtime, saying that they were already aware of the problem and had added my information to their existing (whatever they called it...) - so, hopefully (if it's an easy fix, anyway) we might get back to normal soon™.... Logged in took a couple screenshots and then proceeded to run the Sisilauncher, downloading additional data even though my client was already compatible. " resCharacterModularFemaleHairHiRes.stuff, missing 128.53 MB (100.000%) resCharacterCreationUI.stuff, missing 47.99 MB (100.000%) Total missing data: 176.52 MB (4.60%)" Re-logging to find out that the backgrounds and race/bloodline/gender icons are back, but the males are missing from the bloodline section altogether. And yes, it seems that now the Caldari Deteis woman has lost her black hair color too. Back to dark brown. |

Ok, the client now launches without any problem, but i can't enter character creation when i try to revamp existing characters (which are all Gallente/Intaki male).
When i try to enter it, i get the usual progress bar, which reaches its end, and then things stay still, with a black screen. The client remains responsive: i can still press ESC (which makes the progress bar disappear and then access the main menu), but other than logging off, there's nothing i can do.
When i try to roll a new character, i notice only females models appear on the bloodline/gender selection screen. I can access the customization screen only with female chars, not with male chars. When i try to customize male chars, the client is stuck on a black screen with the small rotating thingy in the middle. |

- Creating a new male char is not possible
- On entering portrait step I stuck on blackscreen with icons/buttons but non are clickable
I am still unhappy. The race selection forces you to create a char in a special way:
- Minmatar: African style body, with darker skin, more voluminous lips (narrow lips are impossible), etc
- Amarr: Asian style body, with hooded lids, etc.
- Caldari/Gallente: European style bodies
But will we able to change races, bloodlines? Furthermore players like roleplayers and others (like me) don't want to change races. We had at least one user (somewhere in this thread) who feels discrimated by african style chars with a formerly enslaved raced. Many other readers of this thread had stated that they want future chars which will be nearly identical with their current avatars. I can't see any progress in that direction but I think this is a very important issue. |

Wow, after 9 years people suddenly discover that Brutors are black... the char creator must be good I can see all character choices and sculpt them , male and female, but the portrait window stays black for me as well. Win7 64, i7 920, 8 GB, HD 6970 (2 GB) |

Houm, this is a Minmatar too, not very African: Likely redhead WIP (female Sebiestor)Anyway, provided how the new race types are different than the original ones, maybe a race change could be an option (specially as race no longer matters much in terms of gameplay). All in all, when looking for a "likely redhead", I just picked it from a combo image with the base models for every race and lineage... Race is much a "how do you would like to look" issue now. |

You can and the most probable reason is that you only applied the manual patch. If you run the SisiLauncher in addition, you will be able to only sculpt the females. |

Every race offered has at least 2 different phenotypes. Minmatar have even 3. That the only African-based one is available for Minmatar is a bit unfortunate, but I don't see why you are making such a fuss about it. If you consider the RP element, don't forget that Minmatar are a former "slave race" - much similar to the African-American people. Hell, make the best out of it and take it back to the bastards who enslaved your ancestors! On the other hand, the races that have only two different phenotypes might be candidates for more diversity, but this could conflict with RP elements. Would an Amarr, who considers Brutor as inferior, accept a dark-skinned brethren? |

Ok so I played around with the character creator and since I couldn't sculpt on any of my male chars I figured I'd try to make one from a female base. Here's the result. When it comes to the male models, I feel we're lacking proper options for sideburns (Though this might have changed since I last tried out the editor some time before christmas). |

If I use the repair tool it downloads a lot of stuff but at the end of the day I cannot even get SiSi to start at all. Slashing the manual install over it it works again (well up to the portrait page, that is). Now I can again see ans sculpt all male and female characters. |

With the 219281 patch portrait mode is working again. But males are still missing if you used the SisiLauncher with the previous patch. Haven't tried using Sisilauncher to see whether it would bring back the males after patching to the newest version manually. |

I'm not normally one to complain about CCP's process of resolving things, but crimmy, whats going on over there? Repaired, earlier today becouse of the Issue with the Male characters, checking to see if that fixed anything, then got a new 100meg patch Applied it now it wont even start do to a list of Corupt or damaged files. That I'm now going threw the Process of seeing if It can repair them.
I'm no coder so I really can't say how hard it is to fix bugs, but how is it right now, that more things are begin broken then they are being fixed? Each Pass with the ccreator something new brake, and Options are taken out.
Please tell us something CCP tell us there is a light at the end of the tunnel where your holding back on all the nuance features, that will be available when you actually deploy this thing? Please give us some kind of hope that what we are seeing isn't all we are getting.
I might be happy with my ability to remake my character just the way I want it, but where are all the other options that were taken out of testing? Please let us know there is more! Please. |
