Since ice is only mined in units of 1 how does mining drones work on it?Do they gather 1unit over time? |

Mining drones are unable to mine ice(correct me if I'm wrong) the only way you can mine ice is with a mining barge/Exhumer. |

You are indeed correct. Barge/Exhumer with Ice Harvester I or II's only. Mackinaw is king. |

Also, mining drones don't come packed with Ice Harvesters, just the normal rock munchers. |

You are indeed correct. Barge/Exhumer with Ice Harvester I or II's only. Mackinaw is king.
I was in fact thinking of saving up for a Mackinaw for this exact purpose. I heard that with mackinaws you can harvest 2 pieces with one cycle with maxed skills. |

The Mack always gets 2 blocks per full cycle of the Ice Harvester, unless your hold can't take the second block. No need to max out the skill. (Except for cutting down cycle times) |
