Hello CCP

This is a small but very important change that i want you to do.

In market the tab ”my orders” when right clicking on an order in either selling or buying section please separate the move the “Cancel order” button from “view market details”

The reason is that many times I missklick the cansel button and looses a lot of isk for putting the huge amount of orders up again.

My suggestion is maybe putting it under the “location” button.

Thank you and an answer from you would be appreciated

Not everybody has crappy gear to play Eve on 800x600 and have big buttons like you do you know? Some of us play in higher resolutions and it becomes tedious to place the pointer over small tabs.

Then get glasses or play in a different resolution.

CCP just moved all the right-click menus around, so it will probably be another 7 years before they look at them again.

Are you seriously suggesting downgrade as a workaround? Are you seriously suggesting players should find workarounds instead of CCP fixing this (or even better, allowing capsuleers to customize their menus)? Seriously?

But if op has difficulty reading, then he either need glasses seriously or lower resolution. Noo all of us like to torture our eye you know.

And yes i usually do market/manufacturing stuff on lower resolution so i dont need to try to quess what that selection in menu is (expecially now in time of great shuffle). It has nothing to do with crappy hardware.

Everyone is free to choose resolution they use and if you cant read it, then maybe you should consider fact that resolution your useing is too high.

And i usually switch to higher resolution when going to battle. If its red, shoot it. Wink

Just becouse your hardware is cabable to show some superhigh X resolution, dosent mean you need nesessarily use it. They dont run nuclear powerplants at 100% all the time you know.

And before anyone blames my eyes, they were just tested. perfect vision still in my age. Little suprisingly considering family history of eye problems.

He is seriously suggesting to alter the resolution and keep windows minimized as a workaround, lol!

The trolling aside I would recommend a simply dialog asking if you really want to cancel that order. THAT would be a minor undertaking imho. ugh

^^This

I've always thought that an easy fix for a lot of the menu "problems" (offline, cancel, etc) would be a simple "Confirm" option like when leaving a fleet. But... eh... why go the simple route?

If shuftling of oredrs is not posibkle, then lets CCP introduce chosealbe SIZE of tabs (and coresponding letters will grow or shrink, it can be come in predefined asizes - like -+ 10% of current size).
Changing of resolution is not ideal, mainly on LCD monitors (and on LED monitors in future too).
And if you wear correct glasses, it will not fix "misplaced" oresders. Do you know how manyx pilots trashed ship insead of activating it ? Many, mayn and it one of reason why CCP move order to another place.
And no, I didnt trashed ship or any module by mistake.

It was just a suggestion.
I am a industry player and i view and modifier prices constantly and sometimes the mouse just drops down to cancel, putting up buy and sell order fees can be very big when this "mouse drop" happens sometimes. It is a big problem for me and i understand it is not an issue for most players.
