Same here.
As well as the fact that:

  • You can't right-click the icon of whoever logged on in the bottom right corner

  • Seeing bonuses from a fleet can be tricky

  • Engine trails disappeared

  • Turret recoil disappeared

  • The interface... Do I really need to explain this one?

The wallet blinking whenever I change an order, even more annoying given that is the transactions tab that blinks, wtf?

Best thread for months. Good job Akita T. Will be interesting to see the solution to some of the issues raised that likely already exist but not known or some of them actually being looked into and improved

• The drone window should not reset every time I dock/undock so that the reduced/expanded drop down menus stay as previously set, as well as drone group drop downs staying reduced when I pull them in

Be able to move a specified qty of items from a stacked group from hangar to cargo and vice versa. Should be able to change setting for move all or give option of all/qty input - forget this one as had a 'learnt something new' response - thanks for that

• Sort out some of the clouds in missions as it’s just a bright mess no matter how you shift the viewing angle

• Why can’t items be dropped from the market/show info window into chat

• For that matter, why isn’t there a test fitting tool button on the fitting tool that is blank that I can drop ships/modules from the market/show info window for test purposes. These items can also show a cross or tick in said tool to show if gained required skills or not

• 30 seconds feels too long for session changes, especially changing ship

• Can’t see assets that are in a ship cargo hold – would also be a good feature for a separate tab to see all assets fitted to ships as I’ve ‘lost’ a few items

• Showing if sov issues on map route, i.e. screwed faction standing. In fact, why not add a small sov icon at the side of each jump dot to show sov

• Show actual standing of other pilots when you view as connections skills don’t show adjusted figure

• Make the probe movement arrows/block a much bolder colour as a complete nightmare to see at times

• When I want to view the probes from a side elevation, why does it not tilt from a rough centre point of the probes instead of some random point which causes them to disappear from view

• Module cycle does not always start and end at the lowest point causing delayed usage

• Drag and drop of BM’s should have a pop-up for how many copies of

• A very silly one is the ship turning 270 degree one way instead of 90 degree the other when aligning to use gate

2nd edit addition

• Somebody mentioned in an earlier post something about an AFK indicator. This would be a great addition for the corp/alliance chat window. Could even add more options (possible corp inputs as well) so you could indicate such things as MIS (missioning), MIN (mining), FLT (in fleet), etc

I get this when I try to drag ore from a can in space to my secure cargo containers inside my ship ALL THE TIME. It's really frustrating. Apparently if you open the containers within your own ship, then warp, the containers don't work until you close them and reopen them.

I spent some time trying to figure out what possible exploit or bug this is supposed to prevent, but I really don't understand it at all.

* Add visual indicator in the hanger when a ship or module is damaged.
* Remove 30 second time for changing ships.
* Make own market orders and contracts highlighted in market and contracts window.
* Allow multiple overviews with individual settings.
* Add ability to look inside station containers when not in station.
* Add additional windows or customisation for the fleet broadcast window so logistics calls and FC's targets are NOT in the same window.
* Add overview option to remove drone brackets but not ship brackets.
* Add a timer next to the capacitor showing estimated time till cap is empty based on currently active modules.
* Add a 'days left until insurance runs out' in the insurance window.

  • When dualboxing on one PC and char A is in warp and char B is docking/jumping through a gate char A will get the "you can't do this while warping"-message (not sure if this still happens, haven't been able to play like this for a while)
  • warping through planets
  • weapon grouping with ammo loaded(at least allow it when all guns are fully loaded)

* When attempting to repackage a large list of items and one of them is damaged, the repackage process stops completely at the first damaged item. It should repackage ALL viable items and notify me that some items could not be repackaged because they are damaged.

* It is not possible to tell if a ship already has insurance unless you attempt to insure it. There should be an icon on the insure-my-ship screen or something to denote its status.

* Expired insurance mails do not get sent until I go to the insurance window. Then I get them all at once.

* AlienFX colors and events aren't configurable (as far as I can tell).

*S&I UI - why do i have to make 7 clicks to launch one f*king job? I have 60 f*cking slots on 3 chars. Surely it is possible to reduce it to 3-4 clicks with some smart interface?

*mailing list - mailbox flashing every time new mail comes to some mailing list. I need mail list for ocassional trade opportunity but i dont need my mailbox to flash 500 times a day!

The roles system is the biggest thorn in my side. Corporation management in general is a real pain under the tail.

* There is no easy to read single-screen overview to see what a given player can access. What you do get is a real mess with lots of scrolling needed.
* You cannot separate control towers permissions to specific towers. It's all or nothing.
* There is no history log of who changed what permissions.
* There's only "Headquarters", "Base", and "Other". Permissions should be specific to each office.
* Titles are publicly viewable. If you want to have meaningful role names at all then you are forced to give away intel to your enemies.
* Limited number of wallet and hangar divisions.
* No hierarchal system. I would like to allow division managers to control the roles of a subset of the corporation, not every single member.
* Roles are very poorly documented.
* Roles are not granular at all.
* No public stock exchange. No way to get your shares back if someone decides to go rogue or leave the game.
* No logs for corporate hangars. If you want logs at all you need to deal with containers.

Honestly, it's a miracle corporations in Eve function at all.

*When I jump trough a gate and try to lock something, I want it to cancel my gate cloak instead of telling me I can't do it.

*I can't right click a (faction) item in my hangar/link in chat and "view contracts"
*When splitting stacks to for example put a bunch of ships with fits up on contracts or splitting ammo stacks to put a roughly equal amount in each of my ships of a similar type (or for inclusion in the above contract), I have to shift+drag for every set I want rather then being able to "split into stacks of x each", possibly also with the option of selecting how many stacks that big should be split off from the main one.
*Repackaging a bunch of mods in my hangar stops as soon as it encounters a damaged module. Give me the option to repair it and continue, continue skipping that mod or halting the repackaging process.

No better visual indicator of the direction than the 'stardust'. Why not to add some kind of a vector that shows the direction?

This combined with ctrl+click targeting and accidental doubleclicks.

I agree. In my experience, I can activate the slot 1-2 seconds before it actually reaches the deactivation threshold. Laggy. Which makes for deadly situations with a cov ops cloak. Did it turn on or not? Click again and you are decloaked...

  • I can't fit a ship or see its "true" statistics unless I board it.

  • Battleships dwarf their own guns, unlike cruisers who have it just right, frigates who seem to wield gigantic cannons, and dreadnaughts who have proportional guns. I like to see my guns!

  • Many ships have hardpoints where it does not seem to make sense - Dominix and Megathron come to mind. Why does the Domi have what seems to be a gigantic mega-hardpoint on each side for... just one gun?

  • Opening and navigating the skills queue takes a hell-on-earth long time.

  • I can't see my true agent quality unless I open his properties.

  • Potential battlegrounds are either too open (asteroid fields) or too closed (stations/gates) making getaways by the defenders extremely easy and battles are hard to find unless both sides seek battle and believe they can win. Would be neat to see deadspace pockets in which, say, you can build a small outpost for some sort of reward, and warping is disabled except via acceleration gates, thereby providing ways to provoke a battle.

  • The scenery has no incidence on battle sight. Asteroids and other landscape features are mere obstacles against which I bump. I'd like to be able to seek cover behind rocks or junk in an attempt to protect myself when on the defensive.

It's extremely annoying that if I want to contract a ship with damaged/used crystals or drones or whatever that I have to fly all the way to it to remove/repair it before I can contract it!

Enable players to either remotely repair or trash things on ships!!
Or enable to contract used or damaged stuff and give the receiving player a warning!!

On board scanner range is 5 AU. <--- Increase this to the directional scanner maximum (14au +) or more.

This is a legacy thing left from the old scanning mechanic and by increasing range it will limit the need to dock/equip scan probe launcher, scan+bookmark, dock again, equip gun/nos/neut whatever, undock. This especially relevant to FW.

There is this really annoying bug in the new expansion that causes the chat window to free periodically. I can still interact with the channel that is currently displayed, but I can't switch channels. The only way to fix it is a client restart.

- Reconnect to lost drones is needed.
- I should be able to see damaged drones before launching them.
- Drones being shot should blink red like people in your watch list do.
- Dragging an item to the chat window should link it, no matter where (market interface, etc) you dragged it from.
- "Trade with guest" window should remember its position. It always opens right on top of what I want to trade.
- The star map should have a "strategic" option that flattens it like, well, the strategic maps.
- Star and solar system maps need to have a wider zoom range.
- Overview should be able to have more than 5 tabs.
- I should be able to set my items hangar to "auto re-pack" and/or "auto stack". Would apply only to when I move an item into the hangar, not when a split a stack.
- I should be able to box a rigged ship and put in in the hold of another ship, rather than this dance of trading it to an alt who contracts it back to me.
- Saved fits should save weapon groupings. So annoying Ive stopped using auto-fit.
- Roids are too dark. You know that big bright moon you see in the night sky? The moon is as reflective as a lump of coal. It looks bright because space is so much darker. EVE roids need to be brighter.
- If I know the password to a station container, or none is set, I should be able to repackage it immediately.
- Packaged containers should be smaller than assembled containers.
- I should be able to place packaged containers in other containers.
- UNDERheat: I should be able to set my modules to cycle slower than normal, or do less effect.
- POS self destruct button is needed.
- LP stores need to be sorted like the market.
- When you select a LP store item, right clicking on it should give the option "view market details".
- Years ago when you started mission the mission window showed a conversation between yourself and the agent. Now it just shows the agent's side, and in many case it looks very strange and is immersion breaking. Bring back the two way convo!
- Dragging to many items to a hold give you a "split stack" option, but dragging them to a corporate hangar does not. It should.
- If you have 2 launchers on a planet, clicking on the second should bring up its window even when the window for the first is still open
* Maybe auto close the first?

  • Having to leave a ship & manually pause training before using a jump clone, then having to manually restart training after jumping - the process is strictly linear, there are no decisions to be made, why isn't it automated?

  • Invoking another session timer when switching ships inside a station. This has no effect on the fleet or the world outside the station, why is that session timer there?

  • Can't reconnect to drones the way I can reconnect to scanning probes, in the instance that I leave a system or get disconnected from the game while I have drones/probes still in space.

  • Fleets are formed with the founding character as fleet commander - it would make more sense to start out as squad leader. How many noobs are caught out by this? I have to remind people at least once a week "move yourself to squad leader to get boosts"

  • Fleets sometimes reinvite disconnected characters back to the fleet when they reconnect. It would be nice if this happened always

  • Solar system plane shadow in the probing interface shouldn't be there, it's just plain annoying trying to probe things down below the plane of the solar system

  • Double-clicking while the control key is held down should not result in the ship starting to fly towards that target, since the control key means "we're targeting stuff".

  • Dragging a packaged and stacked bunch of modules to the fitting window will pull only one item off that stack, unpackage it, and fit that one module to the ship. Fitting my Omen with all five lasers from a stack of five involves dragging the pile to the fitting window five times (or alternately, right-clicking and selecting "Fit to active ship" five times).

  • Orca corporate hangar window is closed every time I use a stargate or dock/undock

  • From the time space is rendered around my ship to the time I can actually interact with it is annoyingly long. It would be nice if the UI was only visible when I was actually able to interact with it.

  • Target icons slide around when one target disappears, meaning my next "shoot that" instruction can result in my ship shooting two (sometimes three) different targets. Or worse, trying to rep a target I'm supposed to be shooting, or shooting a target I'm supposed to be repping.

  • Friendlies and enemies all appear on the same locked target bar

When clicking "Show info" on a corporation while browsing their alliance's member list it takes you to the corp's standings tab, which takes like five seconds to load. Make it take you to one of the other tabs, please!

you might have done this already, but make sure u have general settings/expanded font width, context fontsize max on.

long time ago it was like this, but CCP went to some effort to remove the ability to hide behind asteroids etc. from incoming fire. i'd love to do this again as well, but there was some reason it was removed.

- I have the quick key setup to engage & recall, and I hold the button down until it starts to happen. I'm sure the server loves the 5 billion return to drone bay commands being sent every second by me.
