As usual after the server is updated, i try and log in. Usually you then get the notice that you need to update.

I read a dev blog stating that CCP would be making the client update before enterign login data.

But now, it seems there is no way to patch. I log in, and i get a message: connection failed - incompatible(version).

Did CCP screw up on the patch code? There's no manual patch available at the time of posting, yet this server watching site (eve-offline) says there's 26 players online.

Those 26 will be internal testers, patience mate.

I'm not "panicking", but i didn't really check on how long the patch would be taking. I checked a few times on that serverwatch site, and noticed it was online. I thought CCP would block outside access to the server as they patched it.

No harm done, just asking questions :).

Turiko,

The server is up in client testing mode which means only Developers are on Tranquility. These people are checking the release build to ensure that everything is working properly.

The server is expected to be up at 14:30 UTC.

The change you are referring to is that of the client updates, as opposed to an expansion release, which will now pop up once you boot the client.

They have blocked access thats why it says - connection failed - incompatible version

They never release the patch until they have finished QA testing on the server and even after all that they still some how mess things up from time to time.

Scotty, by "blocking access" i meant blocking it from the internet, causing it to continue showing offline as they test it.

Since this is the first time the patch has come into contact with TQ, which is quite a different beast than SiSi, bugs may appear which only occur on TQ
