Was mostly smooth, just some framerate issue of course. But ran full graphics. Had some visual flickering which was not able to get recorded. Lasers for me caused the most visual lag. After reset, I found I got better frame rate zoomed out before the laser ships returned.

  • Experience, Mainly lasers causing alot of visual lag for myself. Other than that, it was pretty responsive.

I don't generally do any PVP let alone fleets with 400+ people in system but it seemed to run decent when it didn't crash.
Gave it a try on my laptop vs my desktop this time and it seemed to run rather decent but not as well as the desktop.

* Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: I noticed if you got resolution 1920 x xxxx you stuck in infinitve loop and have to quit the game and come back / sometimes even that dont work. When you got 1280x1024 resolution, your game loads normaly and fast - When we did jumps, my client needed 20-40 seconds to complete the jump, while those players with 1920 x xxxx resoution got stuck and coudnt do nothing.

Also noticed. As list of ships was disipiering on my owerview then i coud load, nothing before.

I think some ships's used tracking links. Those links used animation which was kiling the fps of our fleet. If those animation woudnt be there, im sure we coud have 10-15 fps more.

This was really difficult to play (more difficult than the test of the 11th nov).

The fight was laggy as hell. The POS shooting was horrible too. Even with brackets off and all effects off, my FPS was too low to make the fights enjoyable.

The jumps took much time than the 11th nov (traffic control + crash of the client once entering in space).

I decided to leave the test during the POS shooting, as it was too laggy.

CCP : could i change my name so that i won't be the primary target? Rolling Eyes

See ya during the next test o/

  • Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:

  • - Near the end of the test, when Fleet X jumped into our Fleet W, both clients died. However, when I got them logged in, they both sat in space, drones still controllable, modules and targets still active. I hardly got two shots off during that entire engagement, and was not re invited to fleet until a minute before the end, all I saw was random people shooting whatever they could see, no coordination.

All in one a nice test. The missile-combattest was bad but not far as bad as I thought it would be.
Jumps took a while but no real issue. Timer was always arround 2-3 min. emergency warp occured 2 times.
Sorry, no logs again (is there a way to recover logs from a crashed logserver?)

Win 7 ultimate 64 bit
intel core 2 duo (2.8ghz each)
Ati radeon 4770 HD
2 GB ddr2

Flying around the blobs at the gates, fps was pretty stable at 14, with the occasional (huge) spike. In fight, It kept stable at 4, 2 zoomed out and 8 looking in a direction with no ships. Occasionally, it dropped to 0.1, no apparent reason

On a scale of 1-10, I'm afraid it's a 2 or 3. This was by far the worst performance...

...and mostly because of the crashes. I crashed at every jump, and sometimes even while idling at the gate, and also in combat (lost my drones there), and at pos bashing. After 7 crashes, I lost count. Final count is probably around 10. Now, if there only was a guide on how to find and set logserver...

I crashed when A-M where told to dock(so obviously not yet my name), and was not able to connect right back after that for about 20 minutes. At which point, I figured the test had long finished.

I'm pretty sure something went wrong. Never had more than 1 crash on every previous mass test I attended, and this instead happened not only in combat, but also on jump, travel and idling. The missiles themselves I don't think were my particular problem (as I did in fact crash while they were being launched, but not more often than before)
Don't know the number of participants on this test, but I think they were not particularly more than previous ones.
As a bright side, every time I crashed I was swiftly invited back in fleet
Keep up the good work

windows vista business, intel core2duo 1.87ghz.
nvidia 8600
4GB ram

FPS was low through out the whole thing, but it was only focused on the SiSi client, as i was dualboxing with 3 characters on TQ. there were times when i couldnt even lock onto stuff during the fight

related to TQ. i'd give it about a 4, but i've never done any major fleet fights yet, so idk how TQ handles now with 400+ on grid.

my client crashed 2 times during the regular stuff, jumping/fighting. i did DC when the system was remapped, but i was able to log in almost instantly, but when i logged in, i was back on the gate where we cyno'd in and not on the pos . :/

was really laggy, makes me not want to do big fleet fights yet. but was a fun experience, especially considering i came in a bit late and was mid plex on TQ :D

•Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: Too many disconnects to be reasonably playable in a fleet environment. Possibly could CCP create a refleet functionality for just such occasions so that rejoining a fleet after a disconnect or client crash could be initiated by the disconnnected party after disconnect, even without fleet ad, unless disconnected party had been kicked from fleet.

On a scale of 1-10, how would you compare FPS and performance between this test and TQ? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome) Haven't been in a big enough fight yet to experience the lag like that. So, can't really say.

Definitely was a lagfest party, but I didn't really understand what FPS was or if it should be low or high or what all I should be looking at. Honestly, I just hoped my presence in the fleet helped the people who did know at the time.

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: Performance was deplorable. I could target with Brackets off, but with them on, I was down to about .7fps and completely unable to perform the simplest of tasks. It got very laggy and modules did not activate immediately. Knowing I have a bad computer, and expecting terrible terrible lag, it did not surprise me that my computer performed like it did. I managed to stay online during the entire fight at the gate, and even managed to get a kill. Considering I have not participated in a fight of this size, I was just happy that I was able to stay online. During the POS fight, I was lagging terribly, probably because I had all effects on.

* On a scale of 1-10, how would you compare FPS and performance between this test and TQ? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome) never did large scale battle on TQ

Was kicked out at the end of shooting the POS (about 10% armor left).
Was not able to log in again. After the splash screen vanished the EVE main window remained black. Tried this for hours. SISI launcher tool did no additional update. Also tried a complete re-install with TQ version and SISI launcher tool without success.
Was able to log in to SISI again only after todays update.

Haven't really had any big fleet engagement experiance on TQ, but compered to hat I've heard lately it must have been running smoother. I'd put it at a safe 6.

•Did you notice any crashes or disconnects:
Only the planned one for the remap.
I was pleasantly supriced at not getting disconnected when changeing graphics settings around and turning different brackets on and off. Even managed to accidentialy put all brackets on with everyone on grid without disconnecting

•Were you able to login correctly after the remap:
Yup. Got straight back in, and appered in the exact same spot I was in before the remap. Someone even recharged all my cap while I was logged out for a short while Wink

•Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:
It went a lot smoother than I thought it would.
One thing though. It would be nice to have an easier method for muting/unmuting people in the eve-voice. All the friendly banter kind of interfered with me trying to listen to Led Zeppelin Cool

* Windows 7 32-bit
* Intel Core2 Quad CPU 2.66 GHz
* nVidia GeForce 8800 GTX SLI (running two monitors)
* 4 Gb RAM, only 2.75 GB usable / 768 Mb VRAM

* zoomed out, 8 fps with all effects turned off, 0.4 fps with effects turned on, brackets disabled
* zoomed in, 0.4 fps with effects turn off, client locked up with effects or brackets enabled.
* Jumps 1,2,3,4 seemed to get progressively worse. Averaging 80 seconds from pressing jump to actually changing systems. Jump 1 neither client experienced any warp-away lag. Jump 2, second client experienced warp away lag, first client was fine. Jump 3, both clients experienced warp away lag.
* Disconnects only happened under the following conditions. After the Incursion test was begun (the Incursion chat window opened), client 2 crashed. When client 1 turned on the brackets and zoomed in it crashed.
* Login after remap was fine, neither client was located near the POS after remap.
* Combat lag was pretty good. All modules cycled in under 30 seconds, but during the mass combat tests, nothing cycled instantly.

Also, noticed that EVEMON's client relocator did not function correctly.. It would resize the window to a smaller size (presumably the full size of the original window minus the client borders), progressively shrinking the client window. Relocation happened, but since the borders were always re-added, EVEMON could never simulate full screen on the second monitor.
