I like very much the idea of the Sansha Incursions.

But having read the Devblog on Incursions I am very much disappointed.

Specifcally the rewards being offered for those that "Participate" and the mechanics behind those rewards.

System wide effects:
Reuction of NPC bounties by 50% Sad

Possibilty to participate is directly proportional to ISK earning power.

Show me the money:
1) High sec missions give 100 Concord LP per person PERHAPS.
2) If too few or too many "Participate" then no rewards are given or a drastically reduce reward.
3) The best reward is in low sec.

High sec "Incursion" will be boycotted as a waste of time.

Those wishing to "participate" may be disappointed or cause a problem such that no one gets rewarded -> waste of time.

The best reward is in low sec,, level 5 missions all over again. Reward the corps in low sec.

I've got to ask why has so much of our subscription real life money being spent on an "expansion" only a few can "participate" in ?

Most people are going to avoid this content like the plague, be upset their leisure time has been affected and be very annoyed/disappointed that again an "expansion" comes out that isnt playable.

Why can't the sites escalate according to the number of people wishing to participate with seperate "dungeons" created for each fleet participating ?

Why can't high sec "Incursions" be of at least the value of doing level 4 missions over the same amount of time taken to do the incursion ?

Why can't the incursions increase in size and complexity according to the total SP or ships being deployed by the group ? Hell even throw in some extra waves if it turns out the players are doing well ?

Who knows, players might actually have some FUN Very Happy

Bright ideas like seeing Sansha begin to take over asteroid belts, planetary stations who knows wormholes even for moving their spoils out of systems would have been nice. Hell lets see some Sansha hauliers moving trade goods and captured population that even noobs can take out and feel part of Eve.

Would have been nice to see staging areas in WH space which then launch into connected systems.

Way, way too much effort spent on trying to cause players grief on the rewards stakes and not enough effort on trying to be INCLUSIVE and getting people to PARTICPATE and maybe even being REWARDED so they can make they own FORTUNES in low sec and null.

10/10 for idea.
-10/10 for mechanics.

Re-read the blog and read the comments. The LP reward displayed in the blog is for 1 character, not the whole group.

No. Somewhere in the region of 4-5000 LP per site, by the looks of it.

Yes? Excellent way to keep it somewhat competitive.

As always, and as it should be.

Good. Then people will clear out of the hubs and we'll have less lag (and sansha clean-up crews can earn all the ISK they'd ever want).

Last I checked there were no restrictions on entering lowsec? Stop being scared of nonexistent boogiemen. You're going to need PvP tactics to beat them anyways so you might as well learn now and get over your irrational fear of mostly empty lowsec.

Also bear in mind that the NPCs are very likely to shoot newcomers to the site in their RR spider-tanked BS with EW spam, so you have more to worry about from them than players tbh.

And who gave you the authority to speak for all Highsec residents?
You are probibly one of these new lowlifes we have in highsec now with your one man corp named after your character, with a raven named after your character, that has your conversations blocked, your HQ in Jita 4/4 and running level 4s like a RMT slave on crack 23/7.

Unlike questionable bots... erm "people" like you, proper highsec corps like mine will be running these no matter the financial gain, as the best reward is entertainment and that sence of making a difference, of teamwork in a Massively MULTIPLAYER Online game. Very Happy

Big Fat QFT
If you treat the game as your own imaginary business empire then you are obviously going to be disapointed when it hits you that this in fact, is a game that is suppose to be played for fun.

*cough*Chribba*cough*. Plays EVE like a 1 man empire, infact with just a few minutes research you will find that he runs 4 alliances with Otherworld (3 with Highsec in it!) using 28 alts listed in his bio. If I, the solo mission runner in highsec, am doing it wrong by playing this game solo in an NPC corp and a pile of dog**** on your lawn gets more respect then I as you avoid it then I would like to see every god damn brown noser in EVE wardecing Chribba to destroy his solo empire so that by the end next week we see a rage post next week of him leaving EVE and his out of game sites pulled offline. Can't do that? Then respect other's the way they want to play EVE, because Chribba seems to enjoy working with people (because no one works under him with Otherworld tag) in his imaginary business empires that he doesn't let anyone else into to. I enjoy my playstyle of solo NPC blasting like EVE was to the original Asteroids and I belive that Sansha Incursions will disrupt my play style while they are going in systems I am running missions in.

UMAD?

And as for the dirupting your playstyle THATS THE POINT OF THE INCURSIONS!!!!

They are designed to make you want to get rid of them ASAP, so HTFU and help remove them if you want to rat.

100% wrong as fudge, this rewards null sec alliances who can get the required blobs to take down the sansha super caps while not having to deal with the faction navies chasing their -9.9 players.

I will let some else handel your lack of punctuation and run on sentences. Now that it is in non eye bleed format.
