I'm looking for some advice on what might be the best way to make some Isk for a caual player. I don't have a lot of time on my hands and I laoth mission running, at least the killing ones, currently doing level 4s. May try courier missions. Mostly I just want money to buy ships for pvp. The biggest I might ever go for would be T2 cruisers.
So best carreer for a causal player?

Well the most obvious answer is to convince one corp to pay you to kill members of another corp.

Then figure out a way to get isk from the other corp to kill the first corp.

Then try to profit as both corps tear each other apart.

Would also really help if a convoy of Minmatar Soldiers carrying a shipment of high ends pulls through town.

Well, since we exhausted the ones with currency denominations in them I am going to go ahead and say...

...The Bear, the Pirate, and the Griefer.

I was going to say The Rich, the Poor, and the Lazy.(which is why they are Poor)

Otherwise trading is the ticket but that takes a bit more effort than missions at least where brain matter is concerned.

Get sponsored...

Enlist in the imperial army, which grants you destroyers and t1 frigates for tackle...

Or join the 0.0 fleet, which only need numbers and their assets are nearly unlimited...

Upon your service you will receive commission for your ship destruction. It is a fairly simple and less demanding way.

Also take the loot and be the last man standing to pick up the wrecks, the loot and the salvage. Don't share the loot, try to escape with it or pretend to have lost it to pirates. Fake KMs, fake neut accounts.

More grieving way... Join a carebear corporation and steal their assets, hulks, BPOs and even some implants. There are numerous ways to do it. Promise them roles if they put stuff into containers. Promise free transportation in your Orca/Carrier. Do not honour the loan/trust obligations.

I had a fist full of cash, then I blew it all on boosters and prostitutes.... now it burns when I pee. probably going to go pod myself then, that usually clears up that issue!

and hey if you like pvp I would figure lv4 combat missions would be a good start (but you don't want to), I'd rather watch the grass grow than run courier missions.

try suicide ganking!

grab yer ship scanner, cargo scanner, passive targeter,

then fly around and scan some industrials, freighters, and the like. find a couple that are passing through; make sure they are not locals from your staging area; alot of em will auto pilot to gates, so u can jump ahead and see where they go and repeat. plan it out dont jump in and start popping, even in low sec u can take a sec hit, and it takes along time to get it back up, just play it right, be patient and wait for the one that could really pay off, keep an eye out for escorts or waiting ones, you know, do your homework a little, well a bit actually. You know where this is going.

or get your skill up to do scan probes and a scanning ship like imicus or probe and get stealth, core probes to make some way out safes (bm the WH or other site(s) ), combat probes to scan down drones (find quite a bit of em just all by their lonesomes waiting for rescue) scan down ships that are or seem to be "out of ordinary" place, these will most likely be mission, grab yer salvaging ship and cargo scanner (to see if whats in the wrecks is worth taking and being aggressed) and start salvaging the wrecks they leave behind, most dont come back as all they were interested was doing the mission. hel u can even scan down into a mission and ask em if u can salv the wrecks and have the loot, it's always an option.

also if u do scan down a mission that has some roids in it, well hel u just got yourself a private mining area, but rem u culd be scanned down as well.

Once you have a bit of isk in your wallet, I would immediately use it to trade.
Trading is probably the most lucrative profession, short of being a CEO for a large-ish corp/alliance.

Find some guides for station trading & Inter-regional trading.

If you do try station trading, I would suggest you start with low-bulk/high profit goods (High meta items).
