I have been looking into general fits for a vexor and came across one based on speed. At first I had expected people to go crazy once reading what this person wanted to do, I thought it souded cool. In the end people seemed to generally like the idea, and I was just wondering what you guys thought? To me it seems cool, but as if it would not work out so well.

Obviously the drone link is not needed, but this was their fit. |

At all it does not seem that is not the tank in the fit to which you are posted. As for me when there are 1 LSE, fit probably will at least expect. But heavy heartedly as for that. I do not rejoice this fit. When it possesses a stronger tank, it returns to drafting edition, returns do. |

Start with a nano-ishtar and work backwards.
[Vexor, sniper] Damage Control II Nanofiber Internal Structure II Overdrive Injector System II Overdrive Injector System II
Y-T8 Overcharged Hydrocarbon I Microwarpdrive Large Shield Extender II Warp Disruptor II
Dual 150mm Railgun II, Caldari Navy Lead Charge M Dual 150mm Railgun II, Caldari Navy Lead Charge M Dual 150mm Railgun II, Caldari Navy Lead Charge M Dual 150mm Railgun II, Caldari Navy Lead Charge M Medium Nosferatu II
Medium Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer I Medium Anti-Thermal Screen Reinforcer I Medium Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer I
Ogre II x2 Hammerhead II x2 Hobgoblin II x1 Hobgoblin II x5
Rig choice to keep costs down; you could CDFE if you wanted. Find which orbit puts you at 18km. Point target, drones out, orbit till you're shield gets low or it's dead. It basically flies just like a nano ishtar except you don't have the option of a cap booster so you have to worry about cap much more. |

Basically the only tank you are relying on is speed. You have no armor or shield modules. This tactic is commonly referred to as 'meta tanking'. However, your Vexor is not as fast as 'fast' ships within it's class and with the Micro Warp Drive on your Signature Radius will be 500% larger, meaning you will take a lot of hits from most weapons systems. Speed tanking is a good idea to try if that's what you like (many people try it in it's big brother, the Ishtar) but make sure you have some 'real' tank to back you up. Edit: Since armor and armor rigs slow your ship down you normally want to use shield modules to back you up if you are speed tanking. |
