Ever since the new patch of the new patch, I've experienced several sudden logoffs. I was unloading stuff from my cargohold into my hangar when I got an 'item locked' with today's date and time. No reason given. Then I got bounced out to the log in screen. This particular action has happened twice now.
I hadn't experienced anything like this since the patch that eliminated socket closed errors.
Anyone else?

Yep, constantly. Every jump, cyno, dock, undock etc will boot me from the game. Sometimes even logging in is enough for it to boot me out again. Its been bad for a couple of days but after the last patch it is all but unbearable. Im with BT.

Edit:

briefly saw an error message for once. something about 'the transport has not been authenticated'

Having the same problem. I keep getting disconnected randomly. At first i thought it was my wireless connection, but it's not. For some reason i get randomly disconnected for some reason. I wish i could say without doubt that it was EVE, since Eve radio also cuts out for me. All i know is only the radio and the game have this issue for me. Everything else loads/streams properly. Running eve-radio without eve actually doesn't cut the stream. Hmmmmm.

I have also had this problem. For awhile I thought a basic router reset would solve the problem, but last night it was extremely aggravating, as a log in was simply followed by a sudden drop to windows.

I resorted to a work around that I read about for other MMOs.

I have enabled "Port Forwarding" for my computer through my router, and I have not seen it happen since. (this is obviously a problem with my particular router, but hey try it out Laughing )

I just posted this to the 'Socket Closed' topic. Holy Crap! How many times do we have to suffer the unplayability of this game. It's golden at times, but lately, tonight for example, I've been bounced out three times. Twice in hangar while playing in my items hangar, and once while using probes.
How long CCP? How long?

I have suddenly been getting issues like this lately:

Pretty much when I loose connection, I cant connect to anything.eveonline.com but all my other internet apps are working fine while I cant connect, so I assume that it's not on my end but somewhere in between.

Heres an example of a ping today when I lost my connection to eve:

ping www.eveonline.com
PING www.eveonline.com (87.237.39.197) 56(84) bytes of data.
--- www.eveonline.com ping statistics ---
495 packets transmitted, 127 received, 74% packet loss, time 494145ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 218.524/221.076/429.938/18.629 ms

This has been happening randomly for the last few days, sometimes It wont happen for hours, and other times I can barely log in before it occurs. When I experience the issues.. it only happens for the eve game and any eveonline web sites. all other web sites/games, etc work perfectly with no issues.

I thought it was just me.

And in all of this, one thing I'd like to see fixed is e-warp. It only works for me if I ctrl+q. When I genuinely disconnect, my ship stays in space for 15seconds to 2 minutes before finally getting my ship and pod to safety.

How does your connection look with PingPlotter (specifically the last hop). Do you run a firewall? If so, do you have the same issues if you open port 26000 (TCP)?
