...but I didn't.

I've been salvaging between four or five systems continuously for a month or so now. Only recently did I encounter another salvager, using the same ship type as mine, in the area. Sometimes I would warp into a 'roid field only to find him there ahead of me. It always seemed he would go out of his way to get to a wreck I'd targeted just so he could salvage it first. Annoying, but tolerable as I would warp to another field. He would sometimes warp in right behind me to repeat his annoying activity of trying to deny me. I also noticed he would loot yellow wrecks that didn't belong to him - something I rarely do.

One day recently, I saw him looting yellow wrecks, and decided to teach him a lesson. I warped back to my home station, changed into a BC, fitted it with a warp scram, and put a couple of high priced items into the cargo hold. I then warped to a 'roid field several fields down the list from the one he was in. I dropped a cargo container with the items I'd put into the BC's cargo hold and moved off about 20 klicks. I then cloaked, aligned to my dropped container, and waited.

About 20 minutes later my prey made his appearance in his usual Coercer DD. He waited about a minute or so - presumably to scan the area - and then made a move toward my container. By now, I'm giddy with anticipation over the kill I'm imagining, and I can hardly keep from decloaking to go after him.

Sure enough, he stopped within 1500 meters of my container, and didn't align for a safe escape.

RED! He took the bait! I decloaked and moved toward him as fast as my pig of a BC would go. No MWD yet because of just decloaking. He doesn't see me yet. COOL!

Target lock online, MWD online, FIRE!

His shields rapidly disintegrated and I was into his armour before he realized what was happening. Just a few more klicks and I can scram him. C'mon you pig. MOVE! Damn, maybe I'll spend some more time training up my BC skills to V after this.

NO!! He's turning away. Not Yet. DAMN. I'm halfway into his armour and it's vanishing quickly to my laser fire.

Warp scram active. NOOOOOOOO. He warps away and I can imagine him flipping me off as he does.

Well, maybe I've taught him a little lesson and he won't loot from my wrecks or cans. Maybe not. But it was fun. No kill, just fun.

Well,

I've been roaming 4-5 systems for a about a month in my Battlewarrior Elite Warship Vessel when I see a shuttle jumping into me at a gate. I start locking it, activate my MWD (man, I MOVE SO SLOW I think I should consider skilling Nav to 5 after this), and when I'm almost into scram range and almost finished locking he WARPS OUT.

I was shaking from all the adrenaline so I had to go to my boyfriend and have him comfort me.

Well, maybe I've taught him a little lesson and he won't jump into my systems in a shuttle ever again. Maybe not. But it was fun. No kill, just fun.

I'd been roaming four of five systems continuously for a month or so in my uniquely modified military issue Attack Frigate (rigged Kestrel), keeping the systems safe from pirates and other malcontents.
During a routine patrol I warped into an asteroid field where I came across a suspicious can.
I made a note and warped to the next field but the can would follow me and loot the wrecks of destroyed ships. I also noticed the can would loot yellow wrecks that didn't belong to it so I decided to teach him a lesson by baiting him with a can of my own.
After 20 minutes sure enough the can approached my can and stopped within 1500 metres.

RED! I decloaked and moved towards him as fast as my pig of a MWD'ing frigate would go (maybe I'll spend some more time training up Energy Emission Systems to 5 after this), my missiles smashing into his armour before he realized what was happening.
I was almost in scram range when the can warped out! Nooooooooo!

Well, maybe I've taught him a little lesson and he won't loot from my wrecks or cans. Maybe not. But it was fun. No kill, just fun.

I've been mining between four or five systems continouusly for a month or so now. Only recently did I encounter another miner, using the same ship type as mine, in the area. Sometimes I warp into a 'roid field only to find him there ahead of me, happily mining away my asteroids. Annoying, but tolerable as I would warp to another field.

However, I then decided TO TEACH HIM A LESSON. I saw him in system again mining away at my asteroids, so I undocked and warped into the 'roid field. THERE HE WAS, WHITTLING AWAY AT MY ASTEROID. Giddy with anticipation, sweat dropping into my buttcrack, I move toward the asteroid, targeting it. MWD ONLINE, TARGET LOCK ONLINE!! I AM NOT IN RANGE YET TO ACTIVATE THE MINING LASERS, C'MON YOU PIG, MOVE. Damn, maybe I'll spend some more time training up my Warhead Upgrades Skill to V after this.

However, I manage to get into range. MINING LASERS ACTIVATE. NO!! The asteroid is almost gone, mined away. I'm half-way into my second mining cycle when the asteroid disappears and the miner warps away, and I can imagine him flipping me off as he does.

Well, maybe I've taught him a little lesson and he won't mine from my asteroids. Maybe not. But it was fun. No kill, just fun.

I've been trolling between four or five threads for several hours now, Only recently did I encounter another troll, using the same meme as mine! Sometimes I would open a thread only to find him there ahead of me. It always seemed he would go out of his way to get to a post I'd targeted just so he could savagely mis-quote it. Annoying, but tolerable as I would troll a different thread. He would sometimes post right behind me to repeat his annoying activity of trying to deny my well worded arguments. I also noticed he would troll blue boxed posts - something I rarely do.

Most annoying thing about this troll however was than his lack of paragraphs and spaces would hurt my eyes.

For this reason I gave up and wrote tl;dr.

I'd been harassing four or five systems down in Khanid continuously for a month or so. Only after much harassing did I encounter a very tricky tricky target, using the same ship as mine, on grid. Sometimes I would warp to another roid field only to find him following me, almost as though synchronized with my ship. He also had the audacity to always follow me about, heading exactly where I was heading. I found it annoying at first, but then decided to just ignore it since I could go about my harassing without him detracting from my harassment's success. I did notice however that he would loot wrecks before I could, which was very much annoying.
Then one day, it became too much to bare. I decided to teach him a lesson. I headed back to my home station, changed into my warrior clothes and headed back. The bastard followed me through all these steps and did the same!
So I thought to myself "okay, this guy means business" and dropped a container. He readily took the container, and we got ready to warrior for our pride.
Starting to lock him, I was met with the message:

"You cannot target your own ship"

Thinking this to be a silly error, I tried targeting him again.

"You cannot target your own ship"

Enraged, I sent a nasty petition, demanding the issue be sorted out immediately, as this character had been tailing me and harassing me for a good few weeks by now.
I was told it wasn't a bug and that it was standard gameplay mechanics.
I sobered up by the next afternoon, saw my petition, saw my log and still logged in client, and felt like the biggest buffoon ever. I'd been following myself around, been stealing my own loot without my cargo window open and was trying to lock and kill myself.
The weeks I'd felt had transpired by then? Adrenaline makes things feel sloooooooooooooow maaaaaan. Also, I'd been killing NPCs thinking they were players I was harassing. Felt like such a badass I did.

I have been sitting AFK in my cloaked ship in a couple of systems continuosly for a month or so now. Only recently did I encounter another AFK cloaker, in the area. Sometimes I would log on only to find him there already. Annoying, but tolerable as I would just change system to sit in. But sometimes he would warp in after me to repeat his annoying activity of trying to just sit there AFK cloaked in the same system as I sat cloaked in.

One day recently, I saw him again and I decided to teach him a lesson. I got my alt and convinced some friends and their alts to come and sit AFK cloaked with me, so we could outnumber him. By now, I'm giddy with anticipation, and I can hardly focus as I push the cloak button when I log on. YES! I am there in the system before him. But NO!! I forgot to log on my alt and my friends have for some reason not logged on either. DAMN. Nervously I log on another client while I try to reach my friends thru phone. ”C’mon you little piggy, MOVE!” I howl at the client, that takes forever to log on it seems.

Logging in. But NOOOOOOOOO. Just as I select my alt I see that my nemesis logs in and just sits there, AFK cloaked. I can imagine him flipping me off as he does. Nest second my alt enters and a couple minutes later my friends join us, but it is too late now, even though I imagine him beeing annoyed by beeing outnumbered.

Well, maybe I've taught him a little lesson and he won't sit AFK cloaked in the same system as I do. Maybe not. But it was fun. No kill, just fun.

I've been reading four or five forums continuously for a month or so now. Only recently did I encounter another poster, using the same signature as myself, on this forum. Sometimes I would click into a thread only to find him there ahead of me. It always seemed he would go out of his way to get a post on a thread I was going to reply to. Annoying, but tolerable as I would move to another thread. He would jump in right behind me to repeat his annoying activity of trying to deny me. I also noticed he would flame troll posts that he shouldn't have, something I rarely do. One day recently, I saw him replying to troll posts, and decided to teach him a lesson. I opened up MS word, and wrote a trolling post, full of 0.0 drama and asking for nerfs to Caldari. I then moved to a thread several down the list from the one he was posting in, dropped my troll post, then lurked.
About 20 minutes later my prey mad his appearance with his usual signature. He waited about a minute or so - presumably to check who was looking at the thread - and then read my post. By now, I'm giddy with anticipation over the sweet rage I'm imagining, and I can hardly keep from posting a taunt immediately
Sure enough, he stopped at my post, and didn't immediately leave the thread.
POAST! He took the bait! I unlurk and immediately move down the thread to the post new reply button as fast as my pig browser would go. No page-down function because I spilled cracker crumbs on my keyboard. He hasn't seen me yet. COOL!

Typing reply, page down working now, POAST!
He starts raging in the thread about how stupid I am and makes indiscriminate comments about my mother before he realized what was happening. Just a few more posts and I know a mod will come ban him. C'mon browser. MOVE! Damn, maybe I'll spend some more time training scroll-lock to V after this.
NO!! He's leaving the thread. Not Yet. DAMN. I'm halfway through forming a "report post" form and its available characters are vanishing quickly to my posting skills.
I hit send report. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. He leaves the thread and I can imagine him flipping me off as he does.
Well, maybe I've taught him a little lesson and he wont post with on my boards with my signature. Maybe not. But it was fun. No ban, just fun.
Such is the EVE forums.

I ganked a ninja once who was robbing my mission wrecks. I loot and salvage in a kestrel hull its just got a bigger cargo hold than I can get on a coercer. He was brazenly grabbing loot from my wrecks while I was there and since I was unarmed could do nothing about it. I flew off and got another kestrel fit for pvp and changed its name to match my salvager then went back into my mission. He was still there and i cruised over to him, targeted him at the last minute then scrammed and webbed him, I did enjoy killing him as he struggled vainly to escape.... gawd that was sweet, so was getting my loot back and his tractors and salvagers.

I've been salvaging between four or five systems continuously for a month or so now. I'm good at what I do and don't care about those pesky "property rights". My motto, finder's keepers, loser weepers. I especially like those yellow recyling bins for aluminum cans, especially on trash day. Anywho, I'm minding my own business, flipping cans, taking loot and looking out to see who might spank me.(Go ahead, make my day.)

On this particular morning, this salvager, same ship as mine, enters the system, jumps out of the system, trys to target loot that I was pulling in. What an idiot. He thinks he's got some godly right to this stuff. Sometimes I'd get into the roid field ahead of him, sometimes not and now it looks like he's following me. Is it my problem that I'm the fastest salvage gunner in the West with an itchy trigger finger? It looks Idiot is annoyed with my stealing.

So, one morning, Idiot arrives and we do the Texas two-step as we work our way through the roids. After stepping on his toes once, too often, he warps out. I continue. 20 minutes later, I warp into a roid belt and see a precious yellow can with Idiot's name written all over it. Hmmmm. I flip the can and wait. Why lookie here, a BC is warping in and targeting me. He must have done that cloaky thingy because he wasn't on my d-scan. I drop my pants and moon him.

While I'm busy showing him my piehole, I don't realize his guns are a-blazing and my shields are a-melting. By the time I've got my pants back up and belted, my ship is rocking hard from the laser blows to my armor. I look out the window and think, that pig is moving awfully slow. Has he trained AB to 5?

With my armor crying Uncle, me thinking if swapping nanofibers for structure was a hot idea, and that I'm about to be served scrambled eggs for breakfast, I turn my ship around and punch it. Strangely, I hear through the va****of space, NOOOO!! I shake my head, the adrenaline is getting to me. As I hit warp speed, I flip the bird to the Idiot. Maybe he thought he had taught me a lesson about stealing loot. Maybe not. But it was fun. Such is Eve.
