I am wondering about how much isk can be made in null sec doing anominalys or ratting, and how to maximize it to being the mightiest carebear.

So I am wondering how the pros do it, what is the best ships to use.

have a character who has a sentry dominix (not fully skilled but close) that deals 566 (close) 400 (long) range dps (numbers from eve ship fit tool). They cleared a sanctum in about 42 minutes for a total of 23.5 mil in bounties (33.5 isk hour) then came back in a ship to salvage battleships and loot all items for 14 mins (36.8 hour).

With that, I have all the skills for carrier, but just have not bought the skill book or ship, so I am wondering if I should based upon how much dps it could do with modest skilling I got it up to 1400 dps, would that mean it could make double if not triple what I currently do.

What do you guys make isk per hour, what ship you use, and how do you do it?

Already am, just not choosing to post on main so I don't appear like a overly selfish and greedy carebear (which I am).

I fly my maxed out carebear thanatos, lvl 5 fighters, lvl 5 gallente carrier, and lvl 4 drone controle unit, fitting 4x dcu, and 1 probe launcher, 1 sensor booster and 4 target painters... 14 firbolgs vs guristas rats.

I can get about 25-30mil every 20 min, or 75-90mil every hour when I have the time for it, on average I can finish the sanctum with the rings in about 15-17 mins, and the station one in about 30 mins, but it depends on how much I focus (the rings are most isk/h effective for the carrier, but theres less isk)

:P and thats how you do it, oh and always kill frigs, then cruisers first, and splitting drones in groups of 3-5 for each frig is advisable :P

Step two: NC pet

Step three: Mindless anom farming in total safety

slight variable in your isk per hour will be how many people will be out. Many times in null sec I wished I could run missions in empire. Belts....suasage fest. And decnt CA's...someone on them or a waiting list. Some nights all I could get was the piece of crap ca's no one wnated. the low money frigate ones or the pointless drone ones (yay I get high end minerals.....which all the miners get from mining systems and flood the market with :( ).

Get out to rat early all I can tell you. Or if crafty....make a 3rd alt, keep em a neut and get them out to your null sec home.

Neut in system to scare off other ratters...
You rat in the system (as you tell people you are looking for this neut ofc)...
???
Profit.

I used to use a Paladin in Blood Raider space for up to 100mil/hour (but Blood Raider salvage is really nice). A Golem can do the best really in all space.

I'm sure a Kronos could do just as well since you can sit yourself close and get max DPS.

If it's a good faction to salave, i.e. Angel, Blood Raiders, Sansha, then a Marauder is better than a Carrier. If it's one of the crappy factions, like Serpentis or Guristas then they just aren't worth salvaging as opposed to running them faster in a Carrier.

Ed: Another option I've heard works really well is a Torp Rattlesnake with utility highs used for tractor/salvager. Since you have the choice to sit at the spawn point and even the Sanctum with the different ranged spawn points, it's still decent with Sentries and Javs. But I would imagine for this tactic or any other "stay close" tactic, Havens are better in the long run.

Do Sanctums in a Tengu.
Get The Maze once a day.
Solo it.
Achieve 500m daily.

I average somewhere around 102-105 mil / hr after 10% tax from bounties, not counting faction spawns, in Guristas anomalies (jamming is annoying). I anticipate I'll be able to get about 20-25% more income once my skillplan is done. Never gotten an escalation though.

What ship you should use depends on where you are. Mach is great for Angel space, Tengu (HAM) is great for Serpentis / Guristas, Golem / Paladin for Sansha / Blood Raider space (better salvage there).

not well, you would be better off with a bs then, im amazed at the people who bring in over 100 mil hour with battleships... sure, if theres faction spawn, or plex, but from anomalies?
i do 1750 dps, clearing sanctums faster than any other guy i seen before... someone show me proff of their high income, screenshot of wallet ticks... just darken info u dont want to share...

Personally I dualbox with assigned sentry drones (I rarely have to tab, drones shoot what I shoot). BSes die in 15-20 seconds so the travel time for fighters would not be insignificant. Plus I can just instapop the frigs with the sentries as soon as they spawn, don't need to recall the fighters from 50km away.

In a Golem you can get 1400+ DPS and have tractors so 100m/hr is very much possible that way too. I really doubt you could get anywhere near that in highsec though. Sure you get LP but my in a good mission I was getting 12-15m wallet ticks (most missions != good missions) whereas in 0.0 I'm peeking 45m+ ticks with faction spawns.

One thing that is a pain to deal with is when running sites with a big enough group.
Missle ships and Drone ships not using sentries do far below their potential dps due to flight times.

I use a gun ship and can get 20 mil bounty payments every time if i'm doing it solo, havens and sanctums. I have yet to get above 16 mil payments when running a site with another player.

Using a properly fit torp fit golem with t2 launcher rigs etc, one should be able to run the ring sanctum in 15 minutes, so 4 of them an hour figure somewhere around 90 mil an hour depending on the rats.

Get a 2-gyro Vaga, fit a point...and then move from belt to belt (without killing any normal rats) in the systems around YZ in Fountain or RPS in Stain. Do that for a few hours and you're bound to run into an officer. You need at least 2 gyros to break their tank. It's how I made most $$$ in Eve...plus, you get to take PVP breaks since you can still fit a point :D

A Vaga's quite agile too, so unless you run into a monster gatecamp with insta-locking rapiers/huginns/arazus, you'll be fine even in hostile space.

I'm using an Ishtar with T2 sentries and average 36 million an hour in bounties with guitarist sanctums. I do not have drone interfacing 5 as yet but I cannot see it adding much. I'm going to start skilling for a thanatos soon, should pull in alot more.

yet that would never actually be the isk hour that golem would be making (probing for next sanctum, and it having to be another rings) ;)

The highest I been able to make in 1 hour was 94 mil before tax :), thats ticks of 28-31mil after tax

Heres a image to prove it :P, http://i51.tinypic.com/fwhsua.jpg
I believe some of the ticks were with fleet, but the highest werent of cause :P

now someone show me higher ticks with just bounty, (I know you can make alot more isk from plexes, but im talking sanctums/havens here :D

This is sort of like the "how many licks to a tootsiepop" question. After three sanctums (or any other anomoly in any sequence or combination), my mind goes completely numb and I start looking for something else to do.

So, approximately 75 mil a day from anomolies - regardless if it's an hour or ten.

True enough my normal per hour is 75 mil using the setup. no worrries probing out the next one either since i dont salvage i have a free upper for the probe launcher. Normally undock drop probe, scan, do sanctum, scan etc.

And yes in the upgraded space i am in i get to do about 3 rings an hour, when i am lazy or afk'ish i get in the carrier and take easy mode :)
