I was wondering how some Capital Ships have made their way into High Sec Space. I have been playing solo and realize I will probably never own a huge Captital Ship, other than a Freighter (maybe). But I am confused as to how (or if) some players have been able to bring some ships into Empire Space. Has that actually been done? |

In the beginning of Cap ships, they could fly in High sec. Then CCP remove this, and negate the opening of cynos in high sec. The Veldnaught is the only known (to me) Cap Ship currently flying in high sec. |

They are restricted to travelling around using a cyno field, which limits their movement to lowsec/0.0 only.
If a capital ship was in highsec when the change happened, they were allowed to stay there with the limitation that they could never leave system (as they cant use gates, and could only use a cyno to move around, and once they left they couldnt get back)
I also think that if someone uses one of the highsec capable capital ships in a combat situation, it will be moved to lowsec.
They are out there... I dont think theres many, but the most famous being the Veldnaught, Chribba's mining equipped ship (I presume its a dreadnought, but dont know exactly which ship it is)

There is another source of high sec capitals, but it is almost vanishingly rare.
Basically, it requires a capital to be lost to a verifiable bug, this is rather rare as not many situations are like this. The pilot successfully petitions the loss and gets the ship replaced, this is also rather rare.
Some GMs are lazy and spawn the ship in the station the pilot is docked in.
If he was docked in a high sec station, the result is one more high sec capital ship.

Except those get moved pretty swiftly when noticed. And afaik the GM in question gets a nice slap on the hands |

how much would a capital ships in high sec go for? IF they were to be sold by an individual with one in high sec? supermegaturbobazillion ISK? |

If the Veldnaught is indeed the last remaining highsec capital, I'm pretty sure "supermegaturbobazillion ISK" is pretty accurate. Unless I'm misremembering, Chribba already has supermegaturbobazillion ISK... and if he ever leaves the game, I predict self-destruction of the Veldnaught. All pure speculation on my part, mind you. |

It's worse than that, Chribba, they nerf his alcohol ration for a week. As for the number of high-sec caps... there's still quite a few dreads and carriers. I've seen hulls go for 4-9bil, depending on hull and system. |

High sec caps go for a few billion isk, there are many ships that are much more valuable as true collector's items. |
