Two weeks ago a real life friend of mine had a falling out with me. ***DISCLAIMER*** All that ever happened between us up to this point was verbal, over text messages, I never threatened him or his property, or ever acted out against him.

Very long story short, he is a very angry person. Since we used to be friends, we were in the same corp. Since he is broke and has no job, he has to grind missions to buy plex to play. After careful planning, I successfully destroyed his mission ship ~850 mil total loss.

So, he drove over to my apartment complex, and waited quietly outside of my door. When my girlfriend opened the door to leave for work, he pushed his way inside, destroyed about $200 worth of some glasswork I have (had). I was already armed but my girlfriend maced him which made him leave.

Anyway here are the tears:
Tokhein > i was in fleet with my alt, so i could make isk to buy my plex for the next month, and he, being a corp member, opened fire and popped my CNR with no reprocussions from concord
Tokhein > now, i can't grind a bunch of stupid missions to make isk and pay for my acccount for another month, so i guees ill be inactive
Tokhein > i can't believe he just did that
Tokhein > still, ty
Tokhein > im so upset atm, i think i have to lof
Tokhein > log<br>p
Tokhein > it wouldn't be such an issue if i weren't jobless and broke and can't pay for my accoun
Tokhein > account
Tokhein > but he knew that
Tokhein > i know him in rl, and know where he lives, just cause his girlfriend and i don't get along, and we had a falling out doesn't give him a right to do this. and we are still corpies, so wtf?
Tokhein > cuz he couldn't have done it if we weren't corpies because i was trying to mission grind in high sec
Tokhein > and even if i had another CNR, he would just do the same thing

I cannot imagine what might have possessed you to do something like that to a friend and corp mate. You need to man the fck up, appologize, and replace the guy's ship.

I was going to type out a huge thing about morals and how you apparently lack them. However, I will say this:

This has so many levels of fail that the failometer just crapped out.
a) You're not someone I would want to have as a friend in RL or in eve
b) He's not someone I would want to have as a friend in RL or in eve
c) WTF is he doing playing eve if he has no job?
d) Trusting people in eve is always a bad idea.
e) Attacking your own corpies and advertising it on eve-o is a good way to get very lonely in eve as your magnificent reputation proceeds you.

yes breaking into someones house (probably a crime with prison time regardless of your country) is a totally sane response to losing internet spaceships

You fool. Friendships in real life are too precious to throw away lightly. Taking out of game issues in-game is not only pathetic, but wrong. I would never screw over a real life friend in-game or out of game.

You knew what would hurt him most irl to lose in EVE (because you were his friend) and you struck at him in a way that you knew would be painful. Your friendship is probably over, but if you have the slightest shred of decency you'll apologize and settle your differences, and won't trash your friendship over a stupid game.

Why did you post this here? Did you want sympathy from other EvE players? It looks like we all think you are an a-hole that plays with glass toys and needs protection from his girlfriend against upset acquaintances that thought you were really their friend right before you back-stabbed them.

He had been harassing me and my girlfriend for weeks before this, with no provoking from me. I know I have no way to back any of this up. But he declared our friendship dead long before this happened. I did nothing to him, and he blew up on me one day and said the most hateful, hurtful things he could. So yes, I did betray him and blow up his internet spaceship, but he really, really deserved it, and it was a 'fantasy' way of dealing with my aggression. I don't expect any mercy from you all.

Question is, why couldn't you man the **** up and ask him what the problem was? Who has the issue really? The ***** who can't face the problem in real life that has to take it to in game and then in game takes it out in real life? Real conundrum. You know, the easiest way would of just to walk way, /block, change you phone number and forget you were best bros.

Umm... I take that you live in the great U.S. and A*?

There's a lot of issues in your text, but I will just refer to one:

You were armed?

1. Do you have some homicidal tendencies? Have you considered going to see a psychiatrist for you might have some other *emotional* issues too. For being total ass to your rl friend over internet space ship game...

2. You got that scared? Your ex friend must be very, very scary and I salute your GF for having more nerves than you. I suppose she was very understanding for the reason of that assault? Erh...she's still with you?

-------

Anyway.

If there's even a bit of truth in this, this is the saddest story I have ever read in these forums, and if this is a troll, it's a really bad one.

*Shakes head*

You're a complete failure as a human or even as a roach. You deserve every bad thing that can possibly happen to you to happen. But to be fair you're former friend is also possibly psychotic, though I won't actually make that judgment. What you did is pretty far out of line so it's somewhat understandable even if unreasonable. You've also been blacklisted by basically everyone in eve who looks at these forums or knows someone who does. I'm not sure why you'd even post that. You just publicly admitted that you're the single biggest douche bag playing eve and not in a cool or funny way.

Edit: Since he's using a faceless forum alt, I just looked up the mail on battleclinic. The characters who did the deed were Redloc (raven) and Omniwing (crow).

What makes it so bad is not blowing up someone's ship, or even that it's a corp mate. I've wasted thousands of players ships and never felt there was anything wrong with it. I've lost hundreds and feel the same. That's just part of the game. It's the manner in which he did it. There is a very distinct line between simply playing a game and going completely off a ledge in poor sportsmanship for the sake of simply making an ass out of your self. He went off that ledge.

But I was thinking sexy thoughts and picturing her leaving for her job (as a hooker). Big pants and balls don't sound so good.

Heh, it was more or less jab at the OP for being 'armed' and having his girlfriend mace him. But I think a call girl (I like em classy and clean[er]) sounds more appealing.

I think its really funny what he did. I imagine the friend was a **** and blowing up his ship is a funny response. Him coming to your house and breaking ****, getting maced by your girlfriend, etc.. That's just stupid on his part. I recommend you keep some location agents to see if he comes back to play then hunt him :P
