I think people would be happy with extra sp = to the down time.

So down for 1 hour unexpectedly, you have 1 hours extra SP to apply.

I like the sp compensation scheme - i would be happy but tbh i guess downtime is something that has to be accepted.

Why would they give you compensation for skillpoints? The downtime has no bearing on skill training time unless you had nothing in your queue. In which case, you could contact CCP for a reimbursement of skillpoints equal to those lost.

or maybe you should have updated you skills before the time got so low that this down time could actually effect your training?

Agreed, that's far more reasonable than 100k SP (that's over 50 hours worth of training for some skills for me).
The only(?) problem would be determining exactly how many SPs to reimburse - the fastest combination of attributes? Median?

I suggest compensation consisting of fixing one issue as proposed by the CSM for every time the server goes down outside the scheduled period.

Eve player base by far, no contest, whiniest bunch of people I've ever come across. If you don't like what CCP is doing STFU and unsub your account, don't ***** on the forums about how ****ty this game is while playing 14 hours a day.

You agreed to this.

So any reimbursement they might give is entirely voluntary for them. They don't owe you anything.

No.
You pay 50 cents a day to play.
If there is unexpected down time, that is .50/23 per hour.

If you want compensation, let me know and I will paypal the 4 cents you are out.

May I advance the suggestion that the op is pants-on-head ******ed and should never be allowed near any form of communication device lest he lower the IQ of everyone he makes contact with.

I propose that CCP total the regular downtime per month. If regular downtime + unexpected downtime is more than the 1 hr per day * number of days in a month we get extra compensation.

If daily downtime + unexpected downtime is less than the 1 hr per day * number of days in a month anyone who complains about server crashes should be permanently banned!

I'm not even sure if these begging-threads are serious or just trolling.
