Hello All,

ok I've changed this thread around, as I did not convey properly what I intended.

I want to share a post I found:

Hell yeah I play EVE. I've been addicted since 2006. One of the reasons I came to CCP was because Fallout threatened me with bodily harm if I didn't, er I mean because I love playing the game Laughing. I usually spend a few hours after dinner in front of the PC probing down exploration sites or running through low sec running away from fights I go there to find.

<shamelessplug>I don't know if you are on Twitter but you can follow me there, http://twitter.com/CCP_Zymurgist, as I will sometimes tweet about my adventures while playing the game.</shamelessplug>

Let's try to remember that CCP employees are people. They work for a company they [generally] love, and that I would chose to work for again.

We may not like the design choices, but it doesn't mean we can't like the team,

Thank you CCP Employees for making a game which has caused so much incredible passion amongst its players!

Best,
Apollo

I've read all 21 pages so far, and really there's not a lot being said about Zymurgist except that he has a lot of gall or must be joking.

I have read all 21 pages as well, and I guess I should try to make my point clearer:
In "better" times, people would have said "Nothing against you Zymu, but this has to be a joke" that level of recognition of his job and duties is absent.

Thank you for your post,
Apollo

In spite of some emotional content, and the odd moron, it's pretty visible that people realise quite well that CCP's workforce does all it can, and quite often even a lot more. Nobody really puts the blame on them for the mess, on the contrary. That's pretty visible from all the threads, sites, publications, etc.

What is clear however, is that the beef is with an entirely different level at CCP. The decision processes are so off the mark in deviating from concepts and principles that made it all hit it off to start with, and the details of all around that are so painfully clear, that if up there they still can't figure out that they have their definitions and values mixed up, the notion of "having some challenges" is the least of their worries for diversification and future prospects.

Re-read the thread, no one is saying anything bad about Zym. At the most he's getting props for his awesome trollin' skills for the OP.

Everyone is raging at CCP in general.

I'd imagine Zymu has thick skin, which is needed to be here. The attacks weren't directed at him, but I think all will agree that the post was a train wreck and he just got dragged through it. Any and everyone who looks at the post at CCP will associate him with it, and I just wanted to make it clear that he wasn't the "target" of the threadnaught.

How many threads like this do you plan on making anyways? Can't you just ADD to the original?

Seriously, "short straw"? why would CCP start PR-stunts like this, if they would expect such negative publicity and feedback?

This thread just proves, that CCP management is not living in the same dimension as their customers.

ok so each dev gets their own thread then...

Sorry m8, I'm not against the idea of thanking individual devs for actually interacting with the gamers but it can stick to 1 thread.

In the future, I will keep them grouped.
