Hi there,

I still have a running bug regarding the jammed/unjammed issue. I am asking that when you have a target jammed, and the target starts shooting you in the face, that you have the prescense of mind to hit the printscreen button, and link your pictures here. It should look something like this:

Targeting While Jammed

Also please look for an exploit. For example.. If they are logging off/on (with a second PC) to clear the jam, or on-lining an auto-targeter while being jammed, etc.

I've lost a ship per month to this bug, and really need help motivating CCP to fix it.

what you might be experiencing is most likely lag

as the cycle is about to end and no other jam has a succesfull hit ( the jam timer resets if it does )and that timer is never correct it will start a few seconds after jam comes in and it will still be there after it actually ends( LAG )

most logical reason is he is closer to the server than you are thus he gets the server data first

I see what you are saying, and it would make sense in the context of a fleet fight where lag was in excess of 20 seconds. As you see in the screenshot, there's not that many people in local, and lag was minimal. The jam timer indicates that the target (the phoon scramming the vaga) had been jammed for a full 14 seconds.

In reality, jams on the target had been running constantly and successfully for > 2 minutes (the bubble had already dropped).

As a full time top-100 sabre/falcon duo pilot, I can state with reasonable certainty that there is a bug or an exploit. This happens far too often.

Examble 2 can be explained by missiles being DELAYED DAMAGE meening that they are in route even though he is jammed ohh and it could also be FoF missisles

Examble 3 smartbomb is most likely the explanation or FoF's again [they produce a fake locked aggression]

Did you check your damage log to see what did damage to you?

any other mechanics you want explained? Smile

#2 - Agreed. While I did have the drake permajammed, the pic (as is) is unusable. Even with the prescience of the warp scrambler icon on my overview (I don't think FoF missiles could do that), the counter is simply too high, and the effects could be attributed to lag.

well just one thing bothering me you screenie is taken 16:20 eve time yet your logs posted start at 16:21 sooooooooooo i think you know where this is headed right?

post the correct logs because if you think about it that tempest could have regained his lock and shot at you in that time

Lithia, kind of explains what happened to a corpmate of mine a few days ago, same thing basically. He had a target fully jammed, was in his 3rd cycle, but the target was able to lock and fire on him.

Let me take a shot in the dark. Yet another CCP bug that they will ignore/excuse away saying "Our logs show nothing". Its ok, the gaming sites are getting wind of the problems with CCP and Eve, probably won't help your issue anytime soon, but the ball is rolling m8.

Speak to your mate. When he encounters the issue again, we need him to bang the printscreen button.

We all know it happens, but we're not going to be able to get past the CCP tier 1 bughunters without a fraps video or overwhelming data.
