I've started trading over the past two weeks and starting with 7m ISK i'm up to 6m cash, 82m in buy orders and 71m sell orders (lowest sell price) so overall you could say i have 88m in liquid that i could get at straight away, then 159 including the sell orders. It's about 12 days since i started now. Might not sound like a lot but i'm happy :) Thanks to Akita for pointing me in the right direction :)

Thats great! I recently started trading at Jita myself, started with 125m isk and after about a week I've moved over 700m isk and have about 250m isk NAV. Keep it up and you'll do fine. Be sure to get margin trading as soon as possible as that is what helped me move more isk faster.

Before PI there was more stuff to trade, I made a lot of isk buying livestock in low sec and selling it in high sec. And when PI came out I sold what I had left for 3x what I normally got.

I'd recommend that if you really want to do trading, use your two alt accounts to train up PI skills - you can get decent skills in fifty days. That will give you a free passive source of funds (at least until the Dust game allows people to attack your planetary stuff). Also, look at the market and see what datacores are selling well, and get some research going in that area. Again, a good source of passive isk just accumulating as you do nothing. I get about 150 million worth of datacores monthly, it's definitely worth it. It pays for a lot of frigates foolishly and carelessly wasted in PvP.
