CCP if you want the masses to turn up on sisi to mass test your game here's how you do it. GET all CCP Devs, Employes, Managers, Directors, Ceo, and you'll need some friends to come along too as you'll be side A.

Side B player base.
Then see how many pilots turn up on sisi for just a chance to kill you guys. I know this would be a big risk for CCP as 1000's would probably log into sisi and just for the chance to pwn and destroy you ingame. But the real issue would be for CCP is that then we as the player base would find out if CCP has any clue how the game is actually played.

ps. we dont get on because nothing changes and its been stated recently by the csm that nothing will change for a very long time. It seems you dont listen to our concerns and issues with this game anyway so why play your game when we cant play our game - EVE.

... or rather than wasting our time on Sisi doing something completely fruitless than has proved time and time again not to have made a difference to lag at all since Dominion that we go make a cup of tea or read a book. Failing that just play on TQ, you pay to play not to test.

So let the debate start!

However, the problem remains that there havent been enough people on Sisi and they need to run multiple rounds of tests to accurately figure out what parts of the coding are false and whether or not the parts that are shown as creating the lag, are one time deals or if they are really the main culprits of the lag. People like you saying that the tests are not effective simply do not understand the nature of the tests. You people need to sit back and be quiet. Or better yet come up with a better solution. NOT taking part in the tests is NOT going to help in any way. Where as taking part MAY help. Therefore logic states, you should take part in them, and stand at least a chance regardless of how small, to make a difference and help fix the problem.

Calling primaries wouldn't depend on ship type but pilot.

Forum mods will need super tanks while less known ones could focus on gank.

TS is fine the way it is. As far as why nobody uses it, EvE hogs enough of peoples time. EvE X 2 is more than most can handle.
Using Test is pretty simple once you know the process. Its a carebears paradise. Free ISK, free ships, free everything really. I wish they would give us Super capitals. I doubt there are 500 to 1000 people in EvE who can even use them so its not going to get mass people to go to test but 1000 on test is huge.

I dont think they want more than that there. This sudden topic de jour is unfounded IMO.

Keep asking for another 7 years, then maybe, when we're not busy working on something else for a further 18 months, we might get round to joining your mass tests.

Yeah suuure. And shooting wildly around without any sense would allow the devs to test specific aspects of the game.

Really.

I'll give it a 1/10 for the effort.

Logically we should get rewarded, though we don't. Giving our man hours to them for free to fix a product we pay for that they broke is not a reward, neither is free pew pew on that server. If a big alliance plans to participate in Sisi testing in mass numbers it's not going to help them on TQ when the info is leaked is it? TQ matter.

I've turned up to the last 6 tests and they were complete an utter shambles, they were continuously late on doing anything and when they did the server lagged out and we'd get a message 5 minutes in saying "test is done". There was more waiting involved than a mining cycle, felt like we achieved nothing.

Also there has been plenty, each time I've been theres been 400+ pilots however half of them get dumped off the server just before the test starts and don't bother relogging on, or can't log on again.

Have a tournament on Test server. I'm sure it has been thought of.

For CCP, the patch thread in Test feedback? Sticky it.

As far as not gaining an advantage? It is an advantage. You save ISK. That fit doesnt work. That fit isnt cap stable. Its default.

An example. I ran a passive Scorpion glory tank. They suck. Less tank than a Drake. I found that out for free on Test. I would have had to pay for the learning test on Tranquility.
