I think CCP needs to rethink the sucide ganking.

1- no insurnace pay out
2 - move to loss of sec rating to 1%
3 - increase spawn/lock on time for concord
4 - destory everything on the target ship this they don't profit for the ship.
5 - Make the gankers pay the target's insurance payout

You seem to have a little blood on your nose there.

While I agree insurance should not pay out when concorded, I think that should be enough. Suicide ganking should be a possibility, and flying in high-sec is kind of fun with some risk. Just stop flying your billions ISK worth of modules on your flimsy industrials/shuttles and you'll be fine.

I agree if you are concorded = no insurance, but anything else... NO !!!

I think CCP needs to rethink the sucide ganking.

1 - no insurnace pay out for the victim
2 - decrease spawn/ increase lock on time for concord
4 - drop everything on the target ship this they don't profit for the ship.
5 - Make the victim pay the target's insurance payout

Fix'd

Your not to bright are you?

and a +1 on the zero insurance pay out to suicide gankers. Also mayby a zero insurance pay out to people who self distruct? (not sure if that is still profitable since insurance changes)

6 - moar incentives to stop PVP, too many people currently PVP
7 - make all of EVE 1.0 high-sec
8 - pre-spawn concord at all belts, gates, stations and celestials
8 - make all weapons only work on NPCs
9 - remove all NPCs
10- remove all weapons as there are now no NPCs
11- make your ship respawn at the nearest station when somehow amazingly still destroyed by stupidity
12- stroke hello kitty
10 -Ignore all the above and HTFU

OR

DONT fly your mining ship during a hulkageddon event, I assume you can read the forums as you posted here.
DONT carry lots of valuable stuff in a hauler without making sure its as a courier contract so people can't scan your hold

It's already been discussed and CCP have stated they are not going to remove insurance payouts, due to newbie mistakes. This may change, but don't hold your breath.

The CSM brought up the issue of suicide ganking and feels it is too easy. The main problem is that this is in effect subsidized by insurance. CCP is aware of the issue and has discussed it at great length in-house. CCP feels it absolutely needs to compensate newbies that attack players by mistake in high-sec. This may get changed in the future but not in the summer expansion. It was made clear that suicide ganking is an accepted game mechanic.

Assembly Hall thread.

As far as the rest of your OP is concerned. LaughingLaughingLaughing

especially since the uber ultra carebear csm representative, Ankh, got kicked out of it. Best bet to care about the bears too lazy to take the damn 30 minutes to actualyy fly their hauler or faction fit CNR 20 jumps and has 500 mil in fittings and/or cargo...what the worst that can go wrong afk autopiloting through a .5 system with a null or low sec system on the other side of it...is now gone Rolling Eyes

Who da thought...the nice carebear who was a known hater of pvp and how they "bend" rules...would get busted for NDA violations. Can't even trust a carebear...what has the world come to Laughing .

i agree on the no insurance payout if your attempting ganks and also a loss of sec status but what i think should be added in as well is players with negative standings shouldnt be allowed insurance on any of their ships, got to be a price for being a bad ass imo. ughughugh

I am, but I don't think you are, as you don't seem to understand EVE.

Tie insurance to if the target ship was destroyed or not.

Accidental newbie shots and failed ganks get paid. succesfull ones dont.

The problem isnt ganking, but the lack of any sort of meaningfull punishment.

It's "you're," and "too" by the way.
