Hi,

My Capsule was killed while I was offline and I am wondering how its possible.

2 days ago I was killed and podded because of autopilot bug but its ok. I was ported into station where my clone is. So I was little bit tired and I logged out. Next day I logged into game and I wanted to check combat logs from yesterday. There were 2 entries about yd fight so lost of my ship and capsule and another one entry that i lost my capsule again before 4 hours. The problem is that I was not online for whole day. How I can loose capsule if I am not online?

Here is a log:

2010.06.30 12:44:00

Victim: Biosko
Corp: Bolders Enterprises
Alliance: Unknown
Faction: Unknown
Destroyed: Capsule
System: Tannolen
Security: 0.3

Security: -10.0
Corp: Snuff Box

Ship: Loki

Anyway 150dmg? If I am right capsule have about 450hp isnt it? Can somebody explain me how is possible to loose something when you are offline? Thank you.

If you log off with Aggro, GCC, or someone's very fast with probes and you *don't* you can be caught and popped.

If you log in space, your ship/capsule warps about 1million km, and stays static for 15 seconds. if you have GCC or aggro, it's the duration of the time on that left.

Chances are you tried to pull a logoffski, or logged in space and got unlucky.

I understand you, but its kinda different situation isnt it? I lost my ship on 29th of june also my capsule same time .. i was ported into station to clone .. i logged off ... next day after 12 hours i logged in to game and i found that i was killed 4 hours before so timeshape is something like that:

29.6 - loose of ship and capsule, logged out
i am offline
i am offline
30.6 about 12am - loose of capsule again (i am offline, still not logged into game, mystery of kill begins)
i am offline
i am offline
30.6 4pm - I logged into game(first time after ship lost accident)

so second loose of capsule was about 8 hours after first and about 4 hours before I logged into game

I will only say that ships not in the system and/or docked will not show up in a killmail.

I guess somehow there was a bug anyways.

If you were at a station, the capsule could not be killed.

Both capsule killmails point towards the same system btw? Or the one you were killed and the one you have the clone at?

Same system, but different time, different killer(final blow-er) and different dmg. Also I dont have MattFighT in my kill rights. Other players who kill me yd I have in my kill rights.

Here are logs of that regular lost which you asked:

Well, there have been reports of the game 'ghost' logging people on.

TLDR: you shouldn't really be logging in space anyways. File a Bug Report, and a petition if you feel like trying to get your ship.pod back. If you were offline as you claim, CCP should pick up on that, and chances are you'll get stuff back.

I filled 2 reimbursements tickets.
1 for that mystery capsule lost and 1 for ship lost due autopilot bug.

Hope that at least that mystery lost of capsule will be resolved.

He didn't log out in space, he was in a station.

This is a known bug (but CCP don't seem to recognize it) since Tyrannis 1.0.

Sometimes your logging off in space will NOT remove your ship from space and therefore anyone that probes you can come and kill you anytime while you are offline.

Your issue seems going further than that. It looks like if you are podded while "offline but not offline" you don't really end in a station and can be podded again.

CCP is well aware of the "mystery logonski" bug. We've had people lose ships (in space) that have been logged off for 24h. The response to the petition was hilarious, as the GM tried to suggest that the death occurred "in between the client log-in and character selection". The response simply defied all logic, since the death occurred a 8 full hours prior to login, and your ship is not "in space" prior to character selection.

Don't get me started on the "Dmg taken is less than the HP of my ship" bug/exploit.

Hi.
I did just after the expansion lose my Ishtar on the sun a good 3 hours after I logged out.

Petition went up, forum post was made, yet CCP seemed to avoid both things (like normally?)
Anyhow, when I finally got an answer, I got told by the GM that the "log shows nothing" and that as far as he could see, I was still logged on.
All I had to do tho, to get it back was to tell him to escalate the petition and when a senior GM finally looked at it, the logs magically seemed to show something :)

So they know the issue is there (I did also supply them with pictures of a alliance mate who sat in a loki outside our station for 7 hours, even tho he did not show up in local and had logged off and gone to bed long before that)

I got told that it was an issue that they currently were looking into...
